Chapter 26

Y/n was quick to dress up, she threw away her bloody shirt ... It wasn't bloody much, but there were nearly any blood. Come on Y/n, it's not time to think about that now! Shaking her head from her thoughts, she took her shirt in hands and began to put it on. She put it perfectly, just in time when Boruto burst in, that was close.

"Y/n! What's going on?" Boruto asked, he still seemed tired but his eyes gazed at her with suspicion, then his eyes trailed to your shirt that was on the floor, his eyes shining with suspicion. He walked over to it, just as he was about to pick it up you took it first and pulled it away from him. "Y/n, what happened?" Boruto asked.

You looked down at the floor, you weren't sure you should tell him anything, it will only worry him. "Nothing, I just needed to change my shirt." Y/n said, looking down at the shirt in her hands then her eyes trailed back to Boruto, he didn't seemed convinced at all. "Can I see your shirt?" Boruto asked, stretching out his hand for you to give him. But you didn't move an inch.

You knew he was going to find out either way, Naruto will surely tell him about it. Y/n had no really any doubts about it, it was no use hiding it. Handing out her shirt to him, he took it in his hands an looked at it, searching for any clues. For some reason he didn't look at the shirt sleeves at all. Maybe they're not so visible scooted up like that. Boruto looked at you again with suspicion, but then his eyes trailed to your leg and he looked shocked.

Looking down, you noticed there was a cut on your leg... You totally forgot about that, you forgot to treat it. You were mostly focused on your arms... You should have seen it coming but you didn't and now he probably knows what happened. If he doesn't, there's no other option besides telling him the truth.

"W-what happened?" Boruto stuttered, his gaze returning from your leg to you. You knew you won't win this, he had to know. What's the worse that can happen? "Come..." Y/n said, leading Boruto out of bathroom. Boruto stepped aside to let her pass, following behind her. Y/n walked up to his room and opened the door, she noticed it was already wide open and the bed Boruto was laying on is now a little messy. She sat on bed, looking up at Boruto she patted the spot beside her. He did as she told him and sat down on the soft bed.

"When I was about to go, Sophie attacked me." Y/n explained, and Boruto clenched his teeth in anger. "I told you not to go!" Boruto said and his angry tone made Y/n wince but she said nothing more. He was right, she should have listened to him and just stayed in the house. "And now you're hurt... Do you know how much I care about you? I don't want to see you dead!" Boruto said, and Y/n frowned a little. The first thing she wants to do is die at this point, she sees no meaning of life at all. But he probably doesn't know much about that, since she never talked about commiting suicide or anything.

"Y/n, is there anything else Sophie did? When we were back in the school? I noticed you being secretive, and I still remember those bruises on your hands that looked like someone dog their nails on your skin." Boruto said and Y/n froze in place, she didn't know how to tell him this. It was time he knew, he needed to know what Sophie did in the end... He needed to know that Sophie bullied her once. "Actually..." Y/n began but suddenly the door creaked and Y/n looked at the door to see it was Naruto who was there, he walked in the room and stopped in front of Y/n and Boruto.

"Dad?" Boruto asked, suspicion rising in his voice. Naruto glanced at Boruto for few seconds but his blue eyes trailed to Y/n then. "Unfortunately, Sophie ran away. But we will keep out a look for her. I'm sorry but I must go now..." Naruto said and with that he ran away, running downstairs. Y/n was shocked, he wasn't able to catch her? Sophie must be very good at hiding in that case. "Y/n... What happened out there? Tell me everything." Boruto said, and Y/n turned around to look at him. Y/n nodded her head, she will tell him everything. He deserved to know, Sophie was his ex friend... Was she her ex girlfriend or friend? But, never mind that now. Since Y/n hasn't been any close to Boruto or Sophie she never knew if they kissed or not.

"Well... I got attacked by Sophie suddenly, she made shadow clones at threw few shurikens at me, they hit my leg. Then she trapped me, her clones holding kunais close to my neck, I was about to die... But suddenly your father appeared and as soon as Sophie saw him, she ran away as seventh hokage chased her. It looks like he didn't catch her tho." Y/n explained, and she could see Boruto who was looking at the ground without saying a word, he seemed pretty mad.

"Y/n. From now on, you're not going anyone outside alone. Someone has to be with you, until Sophie is gone." Boruto said and he raised his head to look back at her, his sky blue eyes searching hers. Y/n nodded at last, she was too weak to fight against Sophie. She isn't as strong as she thought she is. "I won't go anywhere alone, I promise." Y/n promised him.

Boruto got up on his feet suddenly, then turned around to face her. "Come on, let's treat your wound on your legs." Boruto said and Y/n got up on her feet, blushing a little. She wasn't helpless, she can treat it herself. "I'll do it on my own." Y/n said, but Boruto didn't look like he was about to let her do that, he seemed troubled. It must be a shock to him to hear the girl he once loved is trying to kill Y/n.

"I'd prefer to do it, I just want to be close to you for now. I'm scared you'll disappear somewhere again." Boruto chuckled a little, but said nothing more. He walked out of the room and glanced at his shoulder to see Y/n following close by. He must have been worried for her since she left, and now he will be more worried and protective just because she couldn't look after herself.

However, Y/n was a little glad Naruto walked in and cut off their conversation. She didn't feel like she wanted to tell him anything about what Sophie had done to her, it would just break him more. Following Boruto, he suddenly stopped and Y/n did as well. What was he up to? "Sit on the chair over there, I'll be quick." Boruto nodded toward the chair and Y/n sat on it. She will wait for him to return then he will treat her cuts. She won't be able to commit suicide yet, but one day when she does she will leave this world for good. She doesn't deserve to live, she is just weak and fragile just like Sophie said.

One day, that day will come. Boruto will greave from few days, but soon he will be able to move on. Maybe he won't miss her, but judging by his reaction when Y/n was attacked my Sophie he probably will. He will move on and find someone new, someone worthier than her. He needed someone who wasn't as weak and fragile as Y/n is. That day will come soon, and all Y/n can do is hope that he won't be in depression of Y/n's death.
