Chapter 28

Someone bonked her in the head with something soft, and Y/n grunted. She wanted to sleep more, she didn't want to wake up yet. Nuzzling closer to her pillow, she relaxed again but something hit her again and she made another groan. "Leave me alone..." Y/n mumbled in a sleepy voice. She just bonked in the head again, opening her eyes she saw Boruto who was holding a pillow in his hand and smiling down at her.

"Happy birthday!" Boruto yelled but Y/n only groaned a protest. She didn't expect him to wake her up late for it, she was still sleepy after all. It was her 17th birthday today, and she didn't really want to have a birthday party but she decided to create it anyway. Mostly everyone will be there besides Shikadai and Sumire, they're the only ones who won't come. So, Cho Cho, Sarada, Inojin and Mitsuki.

Shikadai wanted to come but he couldn't he said he's busy. Sumire only denied because she believes Sophie and Flox just won't go because he has to hack, to be exact he's embarrassed and he doesn't want to see her after the kiss. It seems like he needs as much time as she does. "Boruto let me sleep, please..." Y/n said as she yawned, she was still in her pajamas and she wanted to sleep. She is too tired to be up.

"Come on N/n! There's no time for sleeping!" Boruto protested as he wanked her in the head with a pillow again. It looks like he won't give up. Sighing a defeat, Y/n sat up and yawned once again, stretching as it made her relax. She noticed her shirt was slightly up so she pulled it back down. Getting up on her feet she walked over to the closet and pulled out her clothes. "You don't have to make such a big fuss, it's nothing big..." Y/n protested, she was a little annoyed he woke her up, especially when she was dreaming that she was riding a horse, it was amazing. She always wanted to ride one but she never will be able to do so.

Turning around she looked at Boruto who was still smiling and looked at her back, the pillow was still in his hands. "Can you go?" Y/n asked. She needed to dress up, and she didn't really want to dress up in front of him. "Why?" Boruto asked titling his head. 'Come on boruto, isn't it obvious why?' Y/n thought to herself. "So I can dress up or would you rather prefer watching me while I do so?" Y/n asked and Boruto's face grew red immediately as he tensed.

It's easy to make him blush and that's what's so funny about it. "Y-y-yeah! I'll go now!" Boruto stuttered as he left the room and closed door shut behind him. Y/n smiled to herself, but her smile quickly faded as she began to dress up. Taking off her pajamas, she looked down at her body. She never liked the scars covering her, but there's nothing she can really do about it. Putting on her clothes, she pulled away her pajamas and in that moment she heard a door open.

Looking at the door she saw Himawari who entered it, it was good she didn't catch her while Y/n dressed up. "Happy birthday!" Himawari sang, and she handed her a sunflower. Y/n smiled at Himawari, she was just too cute to deny. Taking the sunflower in her hand, she kissed her forehead as Himawari smiled. "Thank you Himawari!" Y/n said, and Himawari just smiled more.

Looking at the sunflower, it looked beautiful it's yellow petals shined in the sun. "It's beautiful..." Y/n breathed, Himawari can just be too cute sometimes. She was grateful for the gift, she never really got anything on her birthday much. She remembered that she didn't have friends, birthday was just any usual day. But it wasn't time to think about that now, Himawari bounced away and Y/n watched her go.

Y/n walked over to the table and put the flower down, then she heard footsteps and she turned her head to look who's coming. It was Boruto, of course. "Hey N/n, the others should arrive now." Boruto said and Y/n froze. Already? But she just woke up, how can they come now? "H-Huh? What do you mean now, how long did I sleep!?" Y/n asked, if she slept too much that wasn't good. She didn't even look at the clock at all to see what time it is when she woke up. "I woke you up at 11am." Boruto explained.
