Chapter 27

Taking a glass of water, Y/n began to drink and suddenly she spotted Himawari who was walking towards her. Putting the glass away, she turned to Himawari. "Hello Himawari." Y/n greeted her, but Himawari stayed quiet, she seemed a little upset and sad.

"I-is it true that you fought with Sophie?" Himawari asked, meeting her gaze and it shocked Y/n. She never told Himawari anything about fighting Sophie, how did she find out? "Um yes... How did you know?" Y/n asked her, going away from the kitchen as Himawari followed behind.

She was still young and small but she will grow into a nice woman one day. "Well... I overheard your conversation with Boruto while I was passing by..." Himawari explained and Y/n was surprised, they didn't hear anything at all. It must have happened when Naruto left, his footsteps covered Himawari's. It's a surprise Y/n didn't even catch her when she left the room with Boruto. "Um, yeah. Himawari I need your help." Y/n said, turning to the little girl as her eyes sparkled with intrest.

"Can you watch Boruto for me? I need you to cover me up, I need to go somewhere and he's still sick. If he goes with me, his sickness will just be worse." Y/n explained. She was going to meet Flox today, and she didn't want Boruto following her, not at the state he already is. Y/n knows Boruto is worried for her, but this time she was certain Sophie wouldn't come. As long as she stays close to the crowd she should be fine, and if she meets Sophie... She can say goodbye to her life.

"But... What i-if Sophie tries to kill you again?" Himawari asked, she looked very worried and it made Y/n smile. She patted her dark blue hair and smiled gently. "I'll be fine. Just don't tell Boruto, okay?" Y/n asked, Himawari still looked doubtful but she nodded anyway. She hoped that she will be back before Boruto realized she is gone. "Bye N/n..." Himawari called and Y/n said goodbye back before she opened the door and closed it behind her.

Breathing in the air, she realized that trees were full of pink flowers everywhere. Spring is here, it seems. Walking away from the house, Y/n headed towards Flox's house slowly. She didn't had to hurry, she had time.

She could see Flox's house from here, it was a little farther away but Y/n was close. She was lucky Sophie didn't appear at all, she knew she'd be fine. Reaching Flox's door she knocked on it as the sound echoed. There were few muffled words Y/n couldn't hear then footsteps and an unknown woman opened the door.

Flox is still age 17, so he doesn't really have his own house. But when he grows up he will be a great programer, that's not a doubt. "Hello. Is Flox here?" Y/n asked, looking at the woman. The woman smiled brightly, at least she's kind. Y/n suddenly remembered her mom, how she kicked her out of the house to go to school then she left her on streets to die... Why did she do it? "Yes, come inside." The woman moved aside and Y/n stepped in the house.

"He's in that room." Flox's mom said, pointing to a wooden door nearby. Y/n walked over to it, she didn't pay much attention to her surroundings. It wasn't time to do so, she needed to get back as fast as she can before Boruto suspects something. Opening the door slowly, she peered in to see a big room. It was pretty dark inside, the laptop that was on the table was turned on. Looking away from laptop Y/n noticed Flox who was on his bed, his snores are even louder than Boruto's. Boruto doesn't snore much either way. Y/n smiled a little and walked in the room, closing the door behind her.

"Flox..." Y/n whispered, walking over to him slowly, careful not to trip over something. She poked his shoulder and that caused a groan of protest from him, looking closely Y/n could see how tired his face looked, he had dark circles under his eyes. She didn't want to wake him up at this point, but she had to. She will make it quick, after all.

"Flox!" Y/n raised her voice and Flox woke up with a jolt. He groaned as he sat up and rubbed his eyes. "Y-Y/n...?" Flox asked, looking at her. Y/n smiled in response, his eyes seemed heavy... What was he doing to get so tired? "Yes, it's me." Y/n said as she sat on the bed beside him.
