Chapter 30

Taking the knife in her hand she sighed sadly. This was her last day, she will commit suicide. She decided to do it today but before she dies she will spend her last days with Boruto. She spent her days with Sarada, Cho Cho, Inojin, Mitsuki and Shikadai. She saved them for the last, it will be her final night.

Putting the knife in her drawer, she pulled away from it and look behind her to see sleepy face of Boruto, he was still sleeping even tho it was 1pm. He stayed up late because he couldn't just stop playing that game all night. Y/n walked over to him and stopped in front of him. Maybe she should do a prank on him? But she didn't know any pranks. Suddenly, she got a idea and she smiled at the thought. Walking over to the table, she pulled out a black marker. She was going to draw mustache on Boruto's face, she could already imagine it. It would look funny.

Walking back to him, she opened the marker and she could smell sweet scent of roses, it's always so beautiful sniffing it. Y/n carefully brought marker closer to his face, careful not to wake him up. Just as she was about to start, Boruto stopped her as his hand held hers and he opened his eyes with a grin. Y/n tried to take a step back with shock but Boruto pulled her closer and she crashed on him. "Where do you think you're going?" Boruto teased as he trapped her, holding his hands behind her. Y/n blushed bright red and dropped the marker as it landed on floor. "I-I..." Y/n stuttered, she didn't know what to say. She got caught and of course Boruto caught her...

He is a shinobi after all, he must have fake slept. It explains why Y/n didn't hear his snores. Boruto smiled at her when he noticed she couldn't find the right words. "Don't mess with me! I'll eat you!" Boruto growled playfully and Y/n smiled at him and she played his game. "Please don't eat me!" Y/n said as she tried to back away but Boruto still held her in place. "It's too late now, you'll get your punishment!" Boruto said and she suddenly felt his hand tickle her stomach, but his other hand was still on her back as he kept her there. Y/n began to laugh uncontrollably, she was too sensitive and any touch can make her laugh.

"Boruto! Stop it!" Y/n yelled and she could feel tears that were in front of her now as she continued laughing. Boruto stopped after few seconds and Y/n's laughter died replaced by panting. Boruto watched her with playful eyes, while he returned his hand back to her back. "Come on, it was fun!" Boruto smiled and Y/n mumbled a protest. She didn't really like someone tickling her since she was too sensitive. But it was sometimes fun, honestly. "I'll forgive you, but only if you kiss me." Y/n said and Boruto smiled at her then he pushed her closer to him and kissed her on the lips, the kiss was slow and sweet.

Y/n pressed closer to him and kissed him back as well, then she pulled away from him. "Hmm..." Boruto hummed as he started to close his eyes again. "You won't sleep again, will you?" Y/n asked, she hoped he wouldn't. It was already 1pm, and he really needed to get up. "No, I'm just enjoying holding you in my arms." Boruto said as he nuzzled the crook of your neck and you shivered a little. Y/n relaxed and rested her body on top of his, snuggling closer to him. Her gaze filled with sorrow, she doesn't want to leave him. But he will find someone else in the meantime, he would get over it. But her heart ached with sadness just thinking about him being someone else's and not hers...

"N/n, are you okay? You're very quiet." Boruto said and Y/n snapped out of her thoughts then nodded. "Yeah don't worry about me!" Y/n said trying to keep her voice calm, it's not time to cry now. She had to be brave, and she can't let him know anything. "Y/n... Are you sure you're okay? You just... Always zone out and seem sad." Boruto mentioned and Y/n frowned slightly. She was glad he couldn't see her face because he rested his head at the crook of her neck. "Yes, I'm okay. Why wouldn't I be?" Y/n asked and she heard Boruto sigh as he warped his arms around her. "After everything that happened, your mom left you, Sophie abused you, and the fire accident... I'm not very certain you're alright. It's okay to be sad sometimes too." Boruto said as he stroked her back.
