Chapter 36

Y/n watched as Boruto made his way over to her and stopped in front of them. He wasn't looking at Y/n... No, he was looking at Flox and he seemed furious. But when he met Y/n's gaze, she could see that he looks very mad. "Y/n, mind explaining why Sarada used shadow clone to be you?" Boruto asked, turning to look at her and Y/n got up on her feet, looking back at Flox. He seemed mad as well, but she returned her gaze to Boruto.

"I-" she was about to continue but Flox stepped in front of her, facing Boruto. "She came to see me, you got a problem with that?" Flox asked and Boruto just seemed to get madder at this point, he clenched his fists angrily. "I do! Don't talk to Y/n again. I'm warning you." Boruto growled and Flox took one step closer, their faces were inches away as the gazed into each other, Y/n watched them both unsure what to do. "Or what?" Flox challenged Boruto.

Y/n knew this wouldn't end good, they will start arguing and Y/n could only help that it won't end up in a fight. "Don't challenge me." Boruto threatened him but Flox didn't reply, he just started at Boruto angrily but in the end he took one step back. "Seriously you're the worst boyfriend ever. You don't even let her go outside in peace, it's no wonder she needed help from Sarada." Flox said, and Boruto seemed like he could explode any second. 'Arghh! Not good! They will end up fighting!' Y/n thought to herself but she wasn't sure what to do at this point.

Boruto was unsure how to argue back to that so he stayed quiet and Flox noticed. "Was that too much for you? Maybe your tongue isn't so sharp as I thought." Flox challenged him and Boruto clenched his teeth, why won't Flox stop? Doesn't he realize that this will end up in a fight? "Alright. I'll give you an option... Leave Y/n alone and I won't harm you." Boruto said and Y/n widened her eyes in surprise. He wouldn't really do that would he? Boruto took out kunai from his bag and his gaze never left Flox's. Flox grinned a little, watching Boruto. "Oh please, like you could ever kill me. I'm a ninja as well." Flox said and Boruto said nothing to that, his gaze stayed mad. He seems like he knows that Flox was a ninja, well, they are kinda old friends after all.

All Y/n knew is that Flox and Boruto knew each other since when they came to the school, but now that was broken and replaced by this ridiculous fight. "You may have been a ninja, but your skills are bad. You didn't train for ages." Boruto said and Flox just smiled even more. Flox couldn't really attack Boruto with anything since he didn't have a bag full of kunais and shurikens. "I'm going to slice that smile off of your face." Boruto growled and as fast as light he sprang at Flox, but Flox dodged the attack.

Just as Boruto was about to run at Flox again, Y/n jumped in front of them two and Boruto's gaze changed to surprise a little, but he still stayed mad. "Don't fight, please!" Y/n tried to calm down the situation but Boruto wouldn't give in. "Don't get involved. Move aside Y/n." Boruto ordered, she never heard Boruto's voice as cold as it is, he wasn't himself. "Yes, move side Y/n. This has to be done." Flox agreed as well, and Y/n couldn't do anything but move aside, or else they'll just push her away. She has to find a solution to this and fast, or else... They might kill each other.

But Y/n doubted they will kill each other, I mean... Would they? She watched as Boruto sprang at Flox again, he aimed for him but Flox dodged again, every time Boruto sprang at Flox, he always dodged it. "Quit dodging! I thought you're better than this Flox." Boruto said, he said Flox's name with bitterness like it's disgusting. Flox didn't reply, he kept dodging his attacks as usual. "Shadow clone jutsu!" Boruto yelled and two shadow clones appeared, she watched with amazement. 'No Y/n, it's not time to watch. Focus... What would stop the fight?' No matter how much she think, she couldn't come up with a solution. Y/n watched as Boruto created rasengan, and suddenly she didn't expect to see what next came up.

His shadow clones pushed him forward with wind jutsu. Boruto told her about his 'Boruto steam', she thought the name was childish but she didn't mind it either way. "I'm going to end you right now!" Boruto yelled, and she watched as the clones pushed him forward. 'He's fast!' He moved like wind, he was really fast. "Rasengan!" Boruto yelled, but Flox dodged it again. He dodged it in time, if he didn't move he would have died. Boruto's rasengan hit the tree behind Flox, and Boruto turned around to look at Flox again. "Your little tricks won't work on me, Boruto. I know all your moves." Flox said and Boruto sprang forward again. "We'll see about that!" Boruto shouted, but something very fast stepped in front of Boruto and stopped him from continuing more.

Y/n gazed into man in front of Boruto, he had black hair and black eyes... He was Sasuke, Sarada's father! Y/n met him once when Boruto was talking to him but not more than that. He was a very skilled shinobi who keeps the village safe, Boruto always talked that he wanted to be like Sasuke. "Mr Sasuke!" Boruto said out loud as he gazed into the man. He did truly look like a shinobi with a dark past for some reason. He's all dressed in black.

"That's enough, Boruto." Sasuke said and Boruto looked at the ground and clenched his fists angrily again. "But-!" Boruto started but Sasuke gave Boruto a look that told him to shut up, and he looked at the ground again doing as Sasuke told him. Sasuke turned around to look at Y/n again, his face was expressionless, he had no other face than one that said '...'

"Boruto, go home. This fight is over, I need to speak to Y/n." Sasuke said, and Boruto looked like he wouldn't give in, he wasn't convinced at all. But, well he's always like that, he does everything he wants. "I'm not going! I want to hear what you want to say to Y/n!" Boruto protested, and Y/n wasn't sure would Sasuke really allow it. But it was a shock that he wanted to speak to her, and how did he appear just like that? Shouldn't he be on a mission or something? Maybe he came back from mission and found Flox and Boruto fighting by accident.

"That's an order. I need to speak to Y/n, and I don't want you sneaking up on us or fighting that boy again. Go home." Sasuke ordered, and Boruto looked like he wanted to argue but just turned away angrily and put his hands in his pockets, Y/n watched him walk away and Sasuke was watching him go as well. Sasuke turned to look at Y/n, he ignored Flox and didn't even glance at him. "Y/n, follow me." Sasuke said and Y/n hesitated but gave in, she didn't really want to but there was no other option. She followed Sasuke and didn't turn to look back at Flox tho she knew he was looking at her. When they were far away from Flox, Sasuke stopped and Y/n did as well.

Then Sasuke turned around to face her and Y/n felt uncomfortable. "What happened back there? Why was Boruto fighting that boy?" Sasuke asked and Y/n looked down at the floor guiltily. "I... I asked help from Sarada to turn into me so I could meet Flox but it seems like Boruto found out and well... He found us and it turned into a fight." Y/n explained, Sasuke's expression never changed and Y/n wasn't sure why, but he's like that so it's natural. "Why didn't you tell Boruto you were going to meet him?" Sasuke asked and Y/n was hesitant to answer but she did in the end. "I knew he would follow me and I wanted to hang out with Flox, if I was to lead Boruto to Flox they would fight... So I needed help." Y/n explained and Sasuke's expression hardened as he turned around to watch the sky, it was still clear and bright. "There's only one way for you to settle this. Both of them won't stop fighting, you have to choose who you will unfriend. Boruto doesn't leave your side and you want to see Flox, it will always end up in argument. You can either unfriend one of them and be happy, you might be sad sometimes but you made the right choice. Or you can either leave it as it is and let them continue fighting and arguing." Sasuke advised her and Y/n knew he was right, she had to pick one. She has to choose who she loves, and leave the other.

Who cared for her, who she loved back... Who was always there at her side when she needed him and she would always be there for him. She never liked Flox, she didn't like him like that. Her heart belonged to Boruto, since they met she couldn't stop hanging out with him, it was impossible and that was because she was too attached to him and she loved him. She didn't see Flox for few days and she didn't really miss him that much, she knew that Boruto was the right option. "Thank you, Sasuke." Y/n said but as she looked around Sasuke was nowhere to be seen, he just disappeared.
