Chapter 16

Waking up, Y/n reacher out to rub her eyes but something was on her way. When she realize at what position she slept, her heart started to thumb faster. Was Boruto still beside her? She was sure of it, she could feel his warm body against hers and when she opened her eyes she was facing his chest. His breathing was slow, and he was snoring a little.

But his arms weren't warped around her, instead they were both placed on either side of her bed, his mouth was a little open and he was drooling. Yep, totally like him. Y/n giggled a little at his sleeping position, he sleeps like that almost all the time. He looked cute, as usual. Y/n raised herself up, she looked over at Boruto, watching him more clearly now. He seemed comfortable and cozy by the look of it.

She leaned closer to his face, looking at him. She couldn't help but smile while doing so, he just looked so cute... Boruto closed his mouth and grumbled a little, it wasn't long after that he opened his eyes and Y/n stumbled back, embarrassed she has been caught staring at him.

"N/n?" Boruto mumbled, yawning as he stretched. Y/n thought he was about to get up, but instead he pulled her closer to him again and closer his eyes. Y/n blushed, she could feel his warm body on her again and she looked up at him surprised. "B-Boruto!? What are you doing?" Y/n asked, stuttering. Boruto hummed. he didn't seem to open his eyes, instead he kept them closed still. "Going back to sleep..." He mumbled, burying his head in the crook of her shoulder, and Y/n warped her arms around him.

He was nice and cute and all but... Y/n was fully awake now and she didn't want to sleep at all. Y/n tried to get up but Boruto mumbled a protest, he kept his hands firm on her back holding her down. "Boruto, let me go... I'm not tired, but you can sleep without me." Y/n said. He still was exhausted after the three days he spend with Y/n, he nearly slept and just ignored it saying he was alright but Y/n knew he wasn't. He didn't rest properly, and that caused him problems. "Mm... Will you come back later?" Boruto asked with his tired voice, and Y/n nodded. "Yes, of course." Y/n said, and with that Boruto let go of her back and Y/n was able to get on her feet now, which she did.

"Okay but be quick..." Boruto mumbled, burying his head on her pillow. Y/n watched him for a moment, he seemed peaceful. "I'll be back before you know it." Y/n lied. She was sure that she will take more time than usual, since she was going to meet Flox and then she will play truth or dare with Sarada, Inojin and Cho Cho. Shikadai refused to come, he said he needed to train.

And Mitsuki probably denied because Boruto wasn't there, but he just said he was busy. Sumire also won't come because she has to study, and Boruto will be asleep by the look of it. Turning away, Y/n opened the door giving Boruto one last glance before she closed it behind her. She began to walk downstairs, searching for Flox. Only noise were her footsteps echoing the hallway.

Suddenly, she remembered... Flox said that he wasn't in dorms or classes Y/n attended to, so he can't be around here... Could he be somewhere on the second floor? It was possible, everyone in second door were dorms for teachers, and principal. He could be there, perhaps. Going downstairs, she came to the second floor quickly.

There were a lot of rooms, but only one could be accurate. It must be the second dorm. Turning to it, she knocked slightly and waited. It wasn't long after that she saw the door open, and she froze in place once she realized it wasn't Flox, no... It was her math teacher. Y/n bowed her head down. "I-I'm sorry! Do you know where Flox's dorm i-is?" Y/n stuttered, she didn't expect for her teacher to open the door...

Well, she kinda did, but she was sure Flox was in there. When she raised her head back up, her teacher fixed his glasses and nodded. "There." He pointed to the door opposite of her and Y/n nodded and said "Thank you!" But the math teacher slammed the door in her face, making Y/n jump... Well... That went well. She thought it would end up worse, she got lucky this time.

Turning around, she faced Flox's door. She took a deep breath to gather her courage then knocked on it. She could feel footsteps in the room, until the door was opened and Y/n saw Flox. She was relieved, finally. "Y/n!" Flox said, he seemed surprised to see her. I guess he didn't expect her at all. "Yes." Y/n nodded.

"What are you doing here?" Flox asked, looking at her with curious gaze. Y/n just smiled and rubbed the back of her head. Well, she did come all this was to meet him and talk to him, he was her friend after all. And he saved her, if it wasn't for him she would be dead by now. "Oh well, can't friends see each other?" Y/n smiled and Flox smiled back, he stepped away so Y/n could enter the room.

When Y/n entered, she gazed around, amazed. His room was much more better than the normal dorms they had, he had TV, couch a big bed, snacks... He also had a PC but it was green with codes... Is he a hacker? She could hear the door close behind her, Flox noticed that her gaze was on his computer so he caught up quickly on what Y/n was thinking.

"Oh, well... You see, I'm a hacker. I can program so that's why I'm in this room." Flox explained. Y/n twitched her nose. A hacker? What was a hacker needed for in a school like this... Well... Does it have something to do with the guys she got kidnapped from? They weren't weak... No. They we're powerful.

"You have a amazing room! It's better than those dorms we live in." Y/n said, sighing. She wished she had a dorm like this, but this was only for special and important people I guess. Flox just smiled softly. "Well, yeah. I got to admit, it is better." Flox giggled and Y/n smiled with him. He had a point after all...

"Y/n." Flox said suddenly, sitting on his bed he gestured for Y/n to sit beside her, which she did. He turned his head to look at her, he seemed more serious now. Already done with joking? Sad. "Thank you for saving my life, if it wasn't for you I'd be dead. I was too panicking I didn't see there was a way out." Flox said dipping his head.

Y/n smiled generously, she did save him but she didn't feel like she needed praising, she was weak at the end and she got trapped. Fire surrounded her completely... Since then she had nightmares about the fire attacking her and burning her to death, that's how she got her new fear... Fear of fire.

But no one knew about it, yet. And no one will find out about her fears or that she self harms, it's best she keeps it for herself, that was no one will find out. "It's fine Flox, I wouldn't leave a friend behind." Y/n said, and Flox looked at the ground, his seriousness gaze became more serious... What is that guy thinking? Y/n sometimes wished she could tell what people were thinking, it would help her a lot, but that was impossible. She was just a normal, ordinary human.

"Y/n... I..." Flox said, unsure of his words. He seemed to have trouble finding the right words, but when he raised his head up, he looked at her with the most serious expression Y/n ever saw. "Y/n, I know you've been self harming." Flox said, and Y/n's heart seemed to stop. How? How did he know? She was sure there weren't any clue, he never saw her do so... So how did he know?

Y/n widened her eyes in surprise, her mouth open a little. She was lost for words. "H-how...?" Y/n managed to ask. "Do you think I really wouldn't be able to tell cut from a wip? I know Kahun doesn't use a knife, or anything close to it. It was very clear." Flox explained, and Y/n felt like a total idiot. Of course he knew, he's smart after all... He noticed immediately when she entered the party, her arms were completely exposed, her cuts were endless.

Y/n clenched her hands into fists, looking down at the floor. "If you need me I'm here, you know?" Flox asked softly, his hand on her back as he caressed it. Y/n looked up at him and smiled, trying to hide her pain. "Thank you Flox, but I should get going... I'll visit you soon." Y/n explained, getting up.

She couldn't talk to him now, she had to meet up with Sarada, Cho Cho and Inojin... "Okay, but please don't hesitate to talk to me..." Flox frowned, and Y/n nodded her head. "Got it. Don't worry!" Y/n called over her shoulder, closing the door behind her. That was... awful... Now that Flox knows, he won't leave her side much and he'd ask her questions... Why does everyone pretend to care? It was probably to hurt her more.

Shaking her head, she cleared her thoughts 'Focus Y/n... You have to meet with the others.' she thought to herself, then began to walk upstairs slowly.
