Chapter 33

After the mission was over, Mitsuki, Y/n and Boruto completed it successfully like planned and Konohamaru let them go again. Y/n somehow lost Boruto, she wasn't sure how it happened but he's not around her anymore and Y/n felt relieved. It's nice of him to be by her side and care for her, but doing it 24/7 isn't really cute anymore...

Well, she was heading to Sarada's house either way. She needed to talk to her after all that happened and she doesn't want Boruto on her ass, listening to the conversation. She heard footsteps and she ran over to the wall, behind garbage can that covered her body as she crouched down. "Y/n!" She could hear Boruto shout but she stayed quiet, and she could hear the footsteps were heard from the roof. This isn't good, she has to be careful or he will catch her and she doesn't want that. She waited until he ran away, still calling her name.

She felt guilty for going on without him while he is worrying where she might be, but she needed to be alone for once. It was getting annoying now, and she just wanted to be free and talk to anyone, even Flox, without Boruto beside her. She couldn't hear footsteps anymore but just to make sure she waited few more seconds then sprinted away. She ran as fast as she could, luckily Sarada's house wasn't far away. Looking back she was relieved that Boruto wasn't anywhere near her, he wasn't anywhere as she could see. Just a few steps more and she should be at Sarada's house. Speeding up, she ran away.

It wasn't long after that she was few steps away from Sarada's house, she could see it from afar now. She stopped running and started walking normally again, it's not far off now. Stepping in front of the door, she knocked and waited as she glanced over her shoulder and that's when she spotted Boruto, but he didn't see her yet and he was still running on the roofs. She could see him cup his cheeks and she supposed he yelled her name but Y/n couldn't really tell, she was far away from him. Damnit, this isn't good. If he just looks on his left he could easily spot her from afar, he just needs one millisecond to recognize her.

As soon as the door opened, Y/n pushed in and the woman gasped. "S-sorry! Sarada you won't-" Y/n stopped in her tracks as she looked up to see a unknown female with pink hair and green eyes she supposed was her mom. But they didn't really look alike, Sarada looked more like Sasuke... "I-I'm sorry!" Y/n stuttered, she shouldn't have pushed in as soon as the door opened, that was very bold of her. The woman smiled down at her. "It's fine. You must be Sarada's friend, I'm Sakura. Come I'll lead you to her room." Sakura said and Y/n nodded, as she followed behind Sakura.

"In here." Sakura nodded toward the door that was in front of her and Y/n thanked Sakura as she watched her go away. Then she turned back to the door and knocked on it. "Coming!" She heard voice of Sarada, and then footsteps were heard and suddenly the door swung open revealing Sarada. "Y/n?" Sarada asked, she was shocked to see her by the look of it. Y/n nodded in response, and Sarada moved aside to let Y/n in, and Y/n didn't hesitate to walk in. She stepped in the room then turned around as she watched Sarada close the door. "Make yourself at home." Sarada said and Y/n nodded again, sitting on the bed as she watched Sarada sit beside her.

"Didn't you say Boruto was following you everywhere? Where is he now?" Sarada asked and Y/n smiled at her question, she was glad she was able to lose him out of his view for a second, now she is free to do what she wants - finally! "I somehow lost him and I took the opportunity to run away and finally relax for once without Boruto being beside me the whole time." Y/n said as she laid down in the bed and rested her hands behind her head, closing her eyes. Yep, she liked this. She liked being with Boruto but sometimes she needed a little room for herself. She heard Sarada giggle and Y/n kept her eyes closed.

"You seem like you're really enjoying yourself. But didn't Boruto catch you in the end?" Sarada asked and Y/n shook her head in reply, he will never be able to catch her as long as she's sneaky and careful which she was. "He was close to spot me but I was quick to cover up." Y/n said and she opened her eyes again to look at Sarada who was looking down at her. "Won't he worry tho? I'm sure he is already looking for you." Sarada said and Y/n frowned a little, she's right. Boruto would be very worried and he might even do who knows what. He's already looking for her, but Y/n didn't really want to go out and meet him again, not now that she needed advice.
