Chapter 19

It's been past three days already, and Y/n was almost getting better and better, she jumped from tree to tree perfectly, she didn't even need to watch her steps or look down, she could not run on it properly, and it felt amazing, she was never more alive before. "You're getting the hang of this N/n!" She could hear Boruto's voice behind her and Mitsuki nodded, quiet as usual. Y/n looked over her shoulder and smiled. "Thank you!" Y/n said.

Boruto and Mitsuki smiled back. She returned her attention back forward, to watch where she's going. She can't believe that she's a ninja! She is lucky that her father was a ninja, if he wasn't Y/n wouldn't be able to do much. It will take time but Y/n will get there eventually. Suddenly a shuriken appeared in front of her vision and she stopped to a halt, balancing herself on the tree.

Turning to her right she spotted two ninjas she didn't recognize. Who are they? "Damnit! She's not alone!" The first guy cursed, and the second guy was watching Y/n closely, seeming to think deeply. Mitsuki and Boruto stepped in front of Y/n, facing the guys. "Boruto, go get Y/n to safety. I'll deal with these guys." Mitsuki ordered. Boruto glared at Mitsuki, he seemed hesitant but nodded in the end.

He turned around and grabbed Y/n in his hands, holding her in bridal style. "I-I can run now ya know!?" Y/n stuttered and Boruto blushed with embarrassment then put her down. "Let's just go." Boruto said, as he lead the way, Y/n running beside him. It's going to take a bit to go back to school, they got pretty deep in the woods. Looking back she could see Mitsuki was still standing in position, prepared to attack. When she returned her attention forward, she was suddenly grabbed by Boruto who stopped.

She then noticed another shuriken was thrown in front of them. "Y/n, didn't you hear me call out to you?!" Boruto said, obviously angry. Y/n must have spaced out when she looked over her shoulder so she didn't hear him, or maybe it was the wind but she doubted it. "Sorry, I spaced out..." Y/n said, Boruto looked a little annoyed now but said nothing.

Looks like there was a third guy, he appeared in front of them. He had a black hair and brown eyes, his gaze looked serious, obviously. "Damnit...!" Boruto said, then suddenly he looked at Y/n and back to the guy. There was only way out of this, and that is fighting. Y/n didn't know much yet so she can't use any Jutsu's or kunais... Shuriken's will probably be useless against him, but you never know.

"Shadow clone Jutsu!" Boruto yelled, creating four shadow clones. Each of them took out one kunai from their bag then jumped at the man, first clone went straight at the man, but he avoided the kunai and punched the clone making it disappear in mid air.

The second clone was behind him, but the man also avoided the clones attack and he tried to punch the clone, but Boruto's clone dodged as they continued to fight. Y/n watched with amazement, all their moves were quick and fast. Will she be like that one day? She thought Boruto was pretty cool and awesome, he had amazing moves. It's nice seeing him on action, he's so amazing!

Suddenly, someone grabbed her. Y/n was about to yell but the man covered her mouth with his hand, looking at his hand she realized it was Boruto, noticing his black and dark pink jacket she relaxed a little. He tightened his grip on her then jumped on top of the tree. "It won't take him long to realize... Let's go." Boruto said, running away as he held her in bridal style. He was careful where he put his footsteps, they weren't really on top of tree, but somewhat close to it. They can't go up because you can't see where the next branch is and it will be difficult.

"B-but I wanna see the fight! Won't you go fight him? Please let me watch!" Y/n pleaded. She liked seeing Boruto in action, he looked so cool and amazing. She never saw something like that before. Boruto looked down at her and smiled. "Sorry N/n, but we have to get you to safety first." Boruto said as he speed up, holding Y/n in her hands tightly so she doesn't fall. Y/n frowned, knowing she won't be able to witness the fight. It was sad, but she couldn't do much about it.
