Chapter 34

Y/n was sitting on floor and watching the TV. It wasn't time to go to bed yet but she will have to soon. And she doesn't really want to sleep at all, she just ends up trying to sleep for hours but never seems to get comfy. It's not a surprise she wakes up early with a very exhausted face, really.

She spent the whole day with Boruto, and then she will spend time with Flox and finally decide who she loves and is her love for Flox real or fake, she wasn't sure herself. If everything goes out as planned, Y/n should get to decide but if something goes wrong... If Boruto realized it's not her he will probably hate her, he will think she cheated on her, I mean isn't it obvious? Just discovering Sarada was acting and she tells him she's with Flox, he will probably suspect she's cheating.

"N/n, you're still watching that cartoon?" She heard Boruto, turning her head she saw that the door open and Boruto is there, looking down at her. He always had a smile on his face when he was talking to anyone, it didn't matter who it was. He always has a positive smile that can brighten up anyone's mood. "Yeah." Y/n nodded, turning her head to look at the cartoon again. She could hear Boruto's footsteps echo as he sat beside her on the floor and watched the movie as well.

Y/n was too interested to even glance at him, it was her F/c after all. "Heh, I'm amazed you don't watch a movie instead. Don't you like movies more than cartoons?" Boruto asked her and Y/n couldn't help but look down, she was embarrassed to admit it but he was right... She loves cartoons more than movies. It should be wrong, but she couldn't help it. They just interest her. "I like cartoons more..." Y/n murmured and Boruto smiled again at that. Y/n looked away from the floor then she looked at Boruto, meeting his blue gaze. "Boruto, what's that black mark on your hand?" Y/n asked and Boruto widened his eyes in surprise. He turned his head away from her, he looked more serious than ever and Y/n wondered what he was thinking about.

He looked at his hand for a few seconds, looking at the mark he has but then he sighed in the end and his seriousness faded replaced by a smile, like he was trying to act like it's nothing. "Don't worry about it. Let's go to sleep now." At Boruto's reply, Y/n pouted sadly. She wanted to watch the cartoon more, it was her F/c after all. "But the shows not over!" Y/n complained, but Boruto wouldn't give in. He got up and took her in his room, holding her his hands, then he placing Y/n on the soft bed. He was gentle to put her down on the bed, like he was scared she would get hurt. "You can watch it again tomorrow. You need rest, you're tired." Boruto said and Y/n noticed he was right.

She was tired, and she could feel her eyelids were heavy. She watched as Boruto walked away, probably to turn off the TV. Y/n pulled the blanket over herself and gazed at the ceiling. She thought about Flox, what if the plan doesn't work out? What if she loves Flox more than Boruto? Would he be sad? Y/n believed he would be sad, I mean... He took care of her and he loves her, of course he would be sad. He was in despair for days when Y/n died, he wouldn't leave her side.

And he won't leave her side now either, he's scared of losing her. She heard footsteps and she looked to see Boruto who returned back once again. He laid down in the bed beside her, and pulled the cover over him. Y/n started to get comfy and she closed her eyes to sleep. Closing her eyes slowly, she stayed silent but her mind roamed free. When she focused more carefully, she wasn't sure what she saw in the darkness.

But she saw fire everywhere for one millisecond and she jerked a little, but then relaxed. She always jerks from time to time, it's usual for her... Y/n is scared to fall asleep anyway, I mean who knows what might happen? Would the house burn down and she'll die in it? It has small chances to be possible, but it's still possible. "Y/n you okay?" She heard Boruto ask, it wasn't his first time he felt her jerk again. "Yeah, don't worry." Y/n said, and she yawned again then closed her eyes once more, trying to focus to sleep.

She sometimes even feels a rush of fear flood through her at the thought of her getting burnt, and she opens her eyes with a very huge fear but realizes she's fine and tries to go back to sleep again. It happens at least more than twice, but when that happens she doesn't jerk... She just gets a sudden rush of fear flood through her. It's strange, indeed.

She felt arms warp around her body and she was pulled into a hug, she could tell that Boruto was holding her close, and he pulled her closer so Y/n's head was against his chest. He didn't say anything, just warped his arms around her and started to close his eyes. Y/n didn't complain, she closed hers as well and started to sleep again. It still took her more than thirty minutes to fall asleep, it was a lot but it wasn't much as one hour. It helped her a little, so that's good.

Opening her eyes, she adjusted to the light and as soon as she looked around she was surprised to see that Boruto wasn't here. That's very unusual, Y/n is always first to wake up. But it didn't matter either way, he couldn't be doing something stupid just because he woke up earlier than her, that's not proof.

Getting up on her feet, Y/n dressed up back to her clothes and combed her hair, usual stuff when you wake up. She needed to go to bathroom and brush her teeth, walking out of the room she went downstairs and to the bathroom, surprisingly no one was around.

Maybe Boruto is somewhere outside, but why would he be outside? He is always staying by her side and won't leave her alone for one millisecond... But then, where could he be? This was very unlike him, but he should come home at some point. Y/n took the toothpaste and began to wash her teeth for few minutes before she walked out of the bathroom.

Suddenly, the door opened and she supposed to see Boruto but it was Sarada and she remembered, she will go to Flox today. Sarada walked in the house, closing the door behind her and she spotted Y/n then walked over to her. "Mitsuki is distracting Boruto. You're good to go." Sarada said and Y/n smiled at her, Sarada was being a huge help now. She loved that she's helping her out, it is time to meet Flox now. "Shadow Clone Jitsu!" Sarada yelled and suddenly white mist appeared, but just for a second.

Y/n looked at Sarada with amazement, she perfectly mastered this for sure. She looked exactly same like Y/n, there was no doubt. Same hair, same clothes, eyes, everything... It was perfect. "Off you go, but remember... Be quick, I can't hold this much longer." Sarada said and Y/n nodded her head, she won't hesitate. She had to be quick and careful with this or else she'll be exposed. Walking over to the door, Y/n turned around to look at Sarada. "Thank you." Y/n said and then turned back to face the door.

Opening it, she went outside and closed it behind her. Hopefully everything goes as planned, if it doesn't... Things won't end good and Y/n can tell that.
