Chapter 18

Y/n took a deep breath and jumped from the next tree, she missed it by an inch, she was about to fall but she held onto the tree tightly, trying to bring herself up. Suddenly, someone grabbed her hand and pulled her back on the tree. "How's it going monkey, caught any bananas?" Boruto teased, and Y/n only glared at him with obvious annoyed expression.

First she had to learn basics, which were jumping and dodging, even genins should know that. It was difficult at first, but after few hours Y/n was handling it good. It was cold outside, but there wasn't much where they could train, in the training room was wide, but it wasn't build for jumping. It was build for mostly targeting and fighting.

And out of all people, Boruto and Mitsuki were there with her, helping her train and being alert, because she got kidnapped last time and it might happen again. So, she had technically body guards with her, you can say it like that.

"Shut up foxface." Y/n argued back, looking at the next tree. It seemed far away, but she can do it. Steadying herself, she jumped and missed the tree by inch, she jumped over it and was now falling down, her gaze wide with fear. She was about to hit the ground- but suddenly something was warped up around her stomach, she looked up to see that Mitsuki's hands caught her, she was lucky he could strength them that long. No wonder he was sent to train her and help her as well.

Boruto was mostly enjoying himself, teasing Y/n. Y/n sometimes forgot how annoying he can be, but I guess it can't be helped. Mitsuki pulled her back up, close to him then he put his hands back to normal, in his sleeves. His sleeves were really too long, and Y/n found it pretty cute, it suited him. "Thank you Mitsuki." Y/n said and Mitsuki smiled in response. Stepping away so she creates some distance, she focused on the tree again. Boruto was on that tree, waiting for her and he rested one of his hands on his thighs.

Y/n prepared to jump, then she leaped but she realized she will land on Boruto. "W-Watch out!" Y/n yelled, but Boruto only froze in place alerted and surprised, then she thought she will crash on him but instead Boruto caught her in his arms, keeping his balance still. He looked down at her, his blue eyes met hers. "Geez... You're seriously bad at this." Boruto mentioned and Y/n looked down in shame, she was bad at it, not gonna lie.

Seeing her change of mood, Boruto only sighed and put her down, her feet meeting the branch once again. "Where's Mitsuki?" Boruto asked, and Y/n also noticed that boy with light blue hair and yellow eyes wasn't on the branch he was anymore, he disappeared somewhere. "Right here." She could see Boruto jump in the corner of her eye, she turned her head and saw that Mitsuki was beside Boruto. He's quick, Y/n didn't even notice him.

"You two would make a great couple." Mitsuki said, smiling and Y/n blushed red but not as much as Boruto. "M-Mitsuki don't say things like that!" Boruto said, turning to Mitsuki but Mitsuki kept his smile and shrugged. Boruto turned back to Y/n, his blush was still visible. "Let's call it a day, it's already 9pm. You've been trying for three hours, we can continue in the morning." Boruto mentioned, and Y/n nodded.

Jumping down from the tree, Y/n looked up to see Mitsuki and Boruto did the same without much difficulty as her. She will get used to this eventually, she will become the most greatest Shinobi the world has ever seen and she'll punch Sophie... But that will get her in trouble, maybe she can spy on her and discover her secrets. If she does, she will make it fear, a deal that she won't tell anyone her secret if she doesn't tell anyone Y/n's secret.

That would be amazing, she'd be so shocked. Turning away, she walked into the school and stopped to look behind her, but Mitsuki wasn't here anymore... "Uh..." Y/n said, noticing Mitsuki isn't here, and Boruto also turned around looking everywhere but he wasn't there. "He is probably in his room, I'm sure!" Boruto said with his usual cheerful voice but Y/n wasn't really sure, tho she didn't question anything.
