A bright light bursts from the gauntlet, knocking everyone backwards but me. The power begins to envelope the planet, destroying it an atom at a time.
"NO!" I scream, throwing my arms into the air. A burst of power escapes me as I fight against the power of the snap, pulling it back inwards. Using all my strength, I wrap the snaps power around Thanos, lifting him into the air.
"Since when could you do this?" shouts Clint from behind me.
"I have no clue." I reply breathlessly. Suddenly, I feel my grip on the snap slip as Thanos fights aginst my power. I close my eyes, forcusing more and concentrating on my grip on him.
"Whatever you're doing," Steve comes to stand next to me, "Keep doing it."
"Keep doing it?!" Loki screams at Steve, stepping closer to him, "It's going to kill her."
"She's strong, she can handle it."
"No she can't!" Loki's voice echoes as he gets in Steve's face, "She may be strong but this, "He points to where I'm fighting hard to stay standing whilst blocking Thanos's attacks, "This is too much."
My grip slips again as Thanos fights harder, "You all need to get off this planet now, it's not safe here."
"What do you mean Jess?"
"He's trying to explode this planet and the only thing stopping him is me. I can't hold him much longer."
"You aren't suggesting we leave you are you?" mutters Nat.
"Yes I am." I turn to face Strange, nodding a him, "Strange, it's time."
He creates a portal that leads to the compound before turning to me, his eyes full of sympathy, "It's ready."
"We aren't leaving you Jess." demands Scott.
"If you stay here, you'll die," I turn back to face them all whilst still fighting against Thanos, "I can't let that happen."
"And if you stay here, you'll die."
"I'm okay with that. The world needs the avengers to save them, they don't need me anymore."
"But I do." whispers Loki, coming to stand by me. He strokes my cheek, a tear falling down his face, "I need you."
I smile at him throught teary eyes, reaching up to wipe away a tear, "And I need you to take care of everyone for me."
"I don't think I can do that without you."
"Yes you can, because I believe in you. I always have."
"You don't deserve this Jess. You shouldn't have to die."
"We all deserve to die Loki. Because we all deserve peace and rest." My voice shakes and I bite my lip, holding my tears back, "Now please, go."
Loki nods before stepping away from me, out of my sight.
"None of us are going anywhere Jessica." screams Bucky.
"You don't have a choice." I turn to Strange again, "Please, don't let any of them come back here."
He nods before sending the portal flying around, pulling everyone through to the compound before disappearing.
"That was a bit harsh."
My head whips around at the sound of a familiar voice. "Loki? What are you still doing here?"
"If we go down then we go down together."
"I can't let you do this"
"It's my choice Jess."
"Are you sure?"
He takes my hand, "Let's go see our baby boy."
I smile before closing my eyes and letting go of my grip on Thanos, allowing the snap to do it's damage. Loki pulls me into his chest as the planet explodes and I am submerged into darkness.
