Today was the big day! It was exactly six weeks from the date of the twin's birth and Meredith and Derek were on cloud nine. They held actually held off from sex...well technically...for six weeks...and now Dr. Cook was going to give them the official go ahead...

Derek brought the twins inside the medical building still inside their carriers and stopped at Dr. Cook's office door... he pulled out the baby double pouch from the diaper bag...

Derek: Now help me put the babies in this..
Meredith: Ok...but why?
Derek: Because...if I keep them in the pouches people are less likely to want to take them out and hold them...
Meredith: (smirks)...You mean all the nurses?
Derek: Exactly...I know they're dying to get their hands on the twins...this will deter them...
Meredith: (giggles)...So that's your plan?
Derek: Yep...
Meredith: (giggles)...You are too much...I bet you spent all day trying to come up with that...
Derek: I did...
Meredith: You know you could just stay in the car with them and wait for me...
Derek: (smirks)...You mean while Dr. Cook puts his head between your legs...NOT!!
Meredith: But you were fine when he was delivering the babies...
Derek: No I wasn't...I was under a lot of stress...and very distracted...obviously...
Meredith: (sighs)...Fine Derek...but I don't want any problems ok?
Derek: (kisses her cheek and smiles)...Ok...I'll be good...I promise...

They went inside the office and just as Derek predicted...all the nurses poured out from all areas of the office to get a look on the babies...he was able to suffer through all the pinches and kisses...but none of them asked to hold them..they sat in the exam room waiting for Dr. Cook...

Derek: (smiles wide)...You see...it worked...
Meredith: (grins and shakes her head)...Yes it did...you're very happy with yourself arent you?
Derek: (smiles)...You have no idea how much...
Meredith: (laughs)...Oh...but I believe I do...

Dr. Cook enters the exam room...

Dr. Cook: Hello my favorite little family...how's everyone?
Meredith: We're good...
Derek: Great!
Dr. Cook: (walks over to Derek and the babies)...Oh look at those two...wow...they've gotten so big...
Meredith: (smiles)...Yes they have...
Dr. Cook: You guys are doing a great job...
Derek: Thanks doc...
Dr. Cook: (smiles)...So today is the big day huh? how's it going with you Meredith?
Meredith: Its going well...I feel great...
Dr. Cook: Well that's good...you look great...any questions or concerns?
Meredith: Nope...
Dr. Cook: Derek?
Derek: Yeah...can we have sex today?
Meredith: (laughs)...Derek! Eager much?
Derek: (chuckles)...Oh yes! And don't lie...so are you...(kisses her softly on the lips)...
Dr. Cook: (smiles)...Well...I don't blame you two...six weeks is a long time...
Derek: (sighs)...Especially in Shepherd time...
Dr. Cook: Alright then lets take a look Meredith so we can have you two on your way...(chuckles)...I'm sure you have plans for the evening...
Derek: (sighs)...Ahhhh...if you only knew doc...
Meredith: (playfully narrows eyes at him)...Enough Derek...
Derek: (grins)...Yes ma'am...

Meredith hopped on the table and laid back while Dr. Cook went to the sink to wash his hands...Derek stood next to Meredith and took a deep breath as he watched her open her legs...she looked up at him and winked...

Meredith: Welll...here goes nothing...
Derek: (sighs)...Yeah...nothing...

Dr. Cook sat down on the stool and rolled over to her...Derek's heart started to pound and his breath became ragged as he watched Dr. Cook postition himself between Meredith's legs......

Dr. Cook: Ok Meredith...relax your legs please...
Derek: Uh...I...
Meredith: (looks up at Derek)...Are you ok?
Derek: Wait! Stop!

Dr. Cook looked up at the stress on Derek's face and rolled away from Meredith in confusion...Derek looked like he was about to pass out...
