Chapter 221 🔞

They decided to have their dinner by the fireplace...it had already been prepared and delivered by one of the chefs form Derek's hotel in town...after their hot tub rendevous...it needed reheating...

Meredith lay on the bearskin rug still completely naked and flat on her belly as she waited for Derek to bring their dinner over...he set the plates down in front of her on the rug along with two glasses of wine and lowered his body so that he was positioned directly across from her...after he got himself settled he looked over the wine glasses and smiled as he found her sparking green eyes shining back at him ...

Derek: (smiles)...What?
Meredith: (smiles)...This is nice...just you and me...naked...eating by the fireplace...no tv...no blackberries...no laptops...
Derek: (chuckles)...No babies...
Meredith: (smiles)...No babies...(sighs)...although...I've been trying not to think about them...I miss them...
Derek: Sorry...So do I...but we have to come back here...and stay longer...just you and me...we need this time alone...
Meredith: (raises her eyebrow)...Why Derek Shepherd you certainly are changing...right before my eyes...
Derek: (smiles)...I'm learning...to trust..its nice to know that there are other people that love our babies and want to spend time with them...and...they can actually take good care of them...maybe not as good as we can but...still...it's a nice feeling...
Meredith: Yeah...it is nice...it makes me think about Steven and how he has no one...I can't imagine how he must feel...
Derek: Me neither...he's a great kid...I hope Cristina can help him...he deserves to live a full life...without being sick all the time...
Meredith: Like Jeremy...
Derek: Exactly...
Meredith: Did you ever think we would be doing what we're doing now?
Derek: (chuckles)...What building orphanages and hospitals...raising millions of dollars to help people?
Meredith: (smiles)...Yes...
Derek: (smiles)...No...
Meredith: Me neither...I mean I've always wanted to help people but I never knew how to connect that to interior decorating...now the pairing seems so natural...
Derek: (smiles)...What you do is amazing...You're amazing...
Meredith: (smiles)...So are you...you've come a long way from destroying hotel rooms...(giggles)...
Derek: (sighs)...I was such a self-centered asshole...I cringe when I think about it...to think that at one point in my life my ultimate goal was to go on a worldwide tour with U2 for like...forever...now...when I'm on the road without you I can't wait to be home in your arms again and smother the twins with kisses...(rubs her hand)...you saved me Meri...my life is more than I could have ever imagined it to be...thank you...

Meredith lay there for a few moments...staring into his gorgeous blue eyes...lost in his beautiful words...speechless...

Derek: Meri...are you ok?

The sound of his voice snapped her out of her haze...she calmly moved the wine glasses and the half empty plates over to the coffee table while Derek sat up on his knees and watched curiously...she then moved towards him and pushed him backwards on to the rug...straddling him...he looked up at her...meeting her fiery gaze while she ran her hands along his muscular chest...

Meredith: I swear when you say things like that I just want to lick you from head to toe...

He met her fiery gaze with his own and suddenly flipped her over on to her back...resting his hips between her legs...

Derek: Me first...
Meredith: (giggles as he softly kisses her all over her face)..Hey...what happened to ladies first?
Derek: Sorry...but I haven't tasted you all day and I'm about to go insane...

He started with her neck...gently rubbing his tongue up her collar bone...stopping behind her ear...sucking her lobe....

Meredith: (moans)...Ohhh...that makes me so...
Derek: Wet...
Meredith: Uhuh...

He moved his tongue down her neck and stopped at her breast...pulling each nipple into his mouth...sucking it...then kissing all around her full breasts...
