Narrators POV:
Aurora was frantically running around the Leaky Coldren alongside Hermione and Ron trying to catch Crookshanks Hermione's half Kneazle and her own cat Andromeda who had both been desperately trying to attack Ron's rat.
"Aha it's okay Scabbers don't worry they won't hurt you now, you know I've had it up to here with those cats they should be bloody put-down!" Ron exclaimed clutching his rat close to his chest as a means of protection.
"Oh for goodness sake Ron you can tell your failing Care of magical creatures you can't even distinguish a cat from Kneazle, frankly I will never understand why you have a pet rat anyway they are fowl." Aurora rebutted gagging slightly as she looked at the dirty animal.
"Well, no one asked you...Oh hello, Harry." The three quickly snapped their heads in the direction that Ron had directed his greetings all exclaiming their own greetings before taking turns to give Harry a hug.
Harry had given the three a rundown of his 'eventful' summer and they spent a good hour responding with their own stories. Aurora's hadn't been as bad as Harry's or as adventurous as the Weasleys who had traveled to Egypt, though they had invited her Fred had convinced her to go see her father and family. While Aurora had been excited to tell her father all the things that had happened that she couldn't write in a letter it seemed that in the two weeks she was there she had only seen him for what felt like an hour in total. So she simply spent her two weeks catching up with friends in Bulgaria and helping her grandparents tend to the magical creatures they looked after. Shortly, after their catch up Harry was pulled away by Arthur who explained that Sirus Black who had recently escaped from Azkaban, had a desire to kill him which wasn't exactly what a 14-year-old wanted to hear and it filled him with utter dread.
Aurora decided to have some quality time with her favorite Weasley though she would never tell anyone this especially Ron would certainly have a fit. Fred lay sprawled out on a couch that faced the fireplace reading a book on potions and upon Aurora's approach, he lifted his gaze smiling and gently placing the book on his lap as to give her his undivided attention.
"Princess Aurora I had been wondering if your prince had whisked you away from us all!" He exclaimed with a chuckle.
Aurora's POV:
I couldn't stop the giggle tumbling from my lips when I heard Fred's comment I quickly plonked myself next to him on the brown leather couch and turn myself to face him. He always called me princess it stemmed from us being little children when I slept at the Burrow without my father being there. I always found it hard to sleep even without the fact that I shared a room with the twins who would spend many nights up late laughing with one another. Being quite close to Fred he would always try to find ways to comfort me to sleep one of the only things that seemed to help would be him reading me muggle fairytales and when he found out about a princess called Aurora from his father he knew that I would love it and I did. I loved it so much I insisted everyone at the Burrow called me Princess Aurora they had to keep it up for a few years till I grew out of it but Fred always called me princess.
We talked for hours about everything and nothing till Molly told us we should get some sleep as we would be heading to the platform in the morning and we should be well-rested. Like the gentleman he is Fred took the liberty of walking me to my room that I was sharing with Hermione.
"Well I'm not Malfoy but I hope that my company is better than his when he walks you to the common room each night." He smiled down at me.
"You and Draco are both sufficient company," Fred pulled a rather hilarious expression faking being offended, "Thank you Freddie I will see you in the morning." I wrapped my arms around him to give him a hug and kissed his cheek before opening my door to a sleeping Hermione.

The entire morning had been rather stressful everyone running around trying to get everything together and making sure not to forget anything. Finally, we had all made it on the train being the last ones to find our seats we were unable to find an empty carriage, having to settle for one which bared a sleeping Professor Lupin. I thought to myself that he must be a new teacher having not heard of him before. I took my seat between Ron and Hermione settling in as Harry mentioned he needed to tell us something.
Harry talked for a while and finished telling us all about Sirius Black wanting to kill him which rather frightened me by the way, why does everyone want Harry dead and why do me, Ron, and Hermione always get caught in the middle? In an instant the train came to a sudden halt, the temperature dropped to hyperthermic lows and it seemed that any happiness had been hung and left for dead.
"We can't be at Hogwarts we have a few hours yet," Hermione stated with a panicked tone.
"Hermione that is the most obvious thing you could have said we are in the middle of nowhere right now!" I snapped back quickly feeling bad for being so rude and giving her an apologetic look. Ron on the other hand was shaking with fear clutching my hand tightly in his grasp wearing a look of terror and stuttering incoherent words as he looked intently out of the window. The only way to describe the following events is to say that not even a muggle movie could have thought of it. A dementor opened our door and instantly took to Harry, Professor Lupin had to cast a spell non of us had heard of before and it finally left leaving Harry who had fainted on the floor.
As quickly as it had happened it seemed even quicker had we had gotten to Hogwarts and made our way to the great hall. Dumbledore did his usual beginning of the year speech but then began explaining that the dementors would be roaming around until Sirus Black was captured which did make sense.
"Potter... Potter is it true you fainted I mean you actually fainted." The voice sounded familiar but I couldn't seem to put my finger on who's it was and upon gazing behind Harry and Ron it seemed that it was Draco's. His voice had gotten deeper over the summer and he has changed his hair to something that provided a bit more eye candy. I like it admittedly he looks handsome. Aurora stop these thoughts he is quite literally insulting Harry and your rating his attractiveness?!
"Shut up Draco." "Shut up Malfoy." Ron and I said at the same time though mine sounded a lot softer compared to Ron's which sounded cold and venomous. Draco's eyes locked with mine giving me a small smile which I returned before he turned to laugh with his goons.
"I saw that," Hermionie whispered so only I could hear.
"What are you on about?" I replied trying to brush off the butterflies in my stomach.
"Malfoy has changed over the summer and you think he is fit, it might interest you to know that you have also changed over the summer and I think you'll find he thinks your beautiful." She stated with a cheeky grin.
"He really hasn't changed that much and I have no-" I began before she interrupted with a sharp tone.
"Yes, he has you would have to be blind to say he hasn't and so have you. You have grown into your body and your hair has grown out longer in fact you really had a glow up over the summer when I think about it." She started examining me looking at me up and down which slightly freaked me so I quickly elbowed her to tell her to stop.
"Not sure where you're going with this so I am going to eat and ignore you now." We both laughed turning ourselves to face the boys who were deep into their feasts, Ron more so.
