Narrator's POV:
All students age 17 and above who wanted a chance to compete in the Tri-Wizard tournament had till Friday afternoon of the first week so that the announcement could be made that evening. It seemed that all the students were anxious to see who wanted to nominate themselves many going into the great hall in their free periods to see who would put their parchment in.
It came to no surprise to anyone when on Friday morning Fred and George came jumping into the hall ready to take aging potions in order to fool the age restriction line placed by Dumbledore. Aurora, Hermione, and Chloe were all sat together doing their Divination homework bouncing ideas off one another because the three weren't the best in the subject and surprisingly they made a good team when they put their heads together.
Aurora couldn't lie she was slightly worried that the potion would actually fool the age line but she found herself trying to convince herself otherwise," It's not going to work." She sang to the boys laughing as Fred and George came round the three Fred putting a hand on Aurora and Hermione's shoulders while George did the same on Hermione and Chloe.
"Oh yeh and why's that Princess?" Fred asked.
"You see that it's an age line," Hermione began motioning to the ground around the Goblet, "Dumbledore drew it himself," she added rolling her eyes.
"So?" George questioned.
"So a genius like Dumbledore couldn't possibly be fooled by something as pathetically dim whitted as an aging potion." Chloe finished the three girls all seemingly on the same wavelength.
"Ah but thats why it's so brilliant," George continued, "Because it's so pathetically dim whitted." Fred finished.
The twins didn't waste any more time downing their potions and jumping over the line to add their names but of course, the spell which was cast launched the pair out of the circle aging them and throwing their names out. The hall irrupted into fits of laughter as the twins playfully fought one another.
The laughter quickly stopped when Viktor and Milan walked into the room both putting their names into the cup one after another before exiting swiftly.
That evening Dumbledore announced the winners Viktor Krum, Fleur Delacour, and Cedric Diggory everyone was cheering and excited for the tournament. But this is Hogwarts and Harry Potter attends so nothing can be so simple, Harry's name too came out of the Goblet and to say Ron felt betrayed was an understatement. Mind you most of Gryfindor felt betrayed, Hufflepuff's were concerned, Ravenclaw's left wondering how he had done it and Slytherin they were ecstatic. Draco Malfoy in particular was excited to see Harry Potter soil his pants in the first round.

With the weekend having passed Ron made it very clear to Hermione and Aurora that should they even consider talking to Harry they were to the enemy and he would shut them out so both the girls were stuck with Ron for the time being.
Aurora's POV:
Ron was driving me insane the past week since the announcement normally he was bearable when Harry was around because well Harry knew how to deal with him. However, Harry was seemingly not allowed to be around any of us or Ron would go ape mode for an hour and rant about how you were fraternizing with the enemy, and honestly, I couldn't be bothered with that. He already talked about Harry betraying him all the bloody time anyway so after an extra hour of him yelling about it I was sure I would have to go to St. Mungos under the diagnosis that I falling clinically insane.
Luckily, I didn't have Astronomy with him I actually didn't have it with any of my close Gryfindor friends but I did have it with Chloe. A sigh of relief tumbled from my lips when I saw the blond haired girl thankful to have a break from the drama in my own house. She instantly beamed a big smile when she saw me waving for me to join her by her desk.
The lesson seemed to pass fairly quickly, since the Astronomy lesson was in the B building as many students called it, which was a part of the castle where you had to go outside via the courtyard to get to the building it was always a long walk to the great hall for lunch. Heavy rain began pounding down from the sky a few minutes before the lesson was due to finish which caused Chloe to give me a panicked look pointing to her hair knowing it would go from being straight to ringlets.
We both used our potions books to attempt to cover as much of our heads as possible not really focused on the detention we would likely get from Snape as a result. Running as quickly as we could as we got to the middle of the courtyard I heard someone call my name, looking to my side I noticed Milan.
"Chloe you go inside I will meet you later," I said before running to Milan who had conjured a spell to use his wand as an invisible umbrella," Hello!" I squealed realizing that this had been the first time we had properly spoken going in to give him a hug which he returned.
"Hello to you too, I was wondering do you have a free period on Monday maybe we could catch up?" He questioned, smiling down at me I returned the gesture nodding in response.
"I do after lunch," I spoke softly.
"Brilliant I will meet you say at the old oak tree?" He pondered.
"Yes, it's my favorite place." I gave him another hug before I ran off to get inside.
Seeing Hermione and Ron at lunch I couldn't help but feel bad for Harry who was sat on his own so I decided to sit next to him instead. We had a quick catch-up where I told him that should he need any help with anything I wouldn't mind helping, I gave him a hug feeling guilty for leaving it so long to talk to him before I finally joined Ron and Hermione.
I could visibly see the anger on Ron's face and as soon as I went to sit down he didn't hesitate to begin raising his voice at me saying that I was a traitor to which my response was to say," You know what Ronald Weasley your a right foul fucking git that's your best bloody friend and you're sat there acting like he means nothing to you. When in reality if he gets hurt or killed in the first task you will be the first to be sorry. So If you don't mind I am not going to sit here and get yelled at by an immature brat."
I quickly stood up exiting the hall in a hurry my chest rising and falling feeling out of breath from the blood that was boiling in my body. It seemed that luck was not on my side and that someone wanted a bigger explosion from my part as I felt a hand grab my wrist and turn me around. Just as I was going to yell at the person I realized it was Draco who seemed to mirror me his jaw clenched, chest heaving, and a sea of anger visible in his ocean eyes.
"What?" I half yelled knowing that this wouldn't end well.
"What the fuck did I say to you Aurora? Why the hell do I have Blaise telling me you were in the courtyard with Milan giving him a hug and agreeing to meet up with him on Monday?" He spat causing me to yank my hand away from his and roll my eyes in response.
"He is one of my friends Draco calm down it's nothing," I said raising my voice slightly getting irritated with the situation.
"Friend my arse Blaise made it clear he was looking at you in a more than friendly way Aurora."
"I couldn't give a fuck what Blaise thinks he is my friend end of the conversation and I will be seeing him on Monday because he is my friend and I want to catch up with him." He began taking a stride closer to me which I responded by taking a step back.
"Fine talk to him but he touches you and I swear to fucking Merlin I will hex him I know his game he's 17." He growled.
"Oh and what's his bloody game then Malfoy?"
"Exactly what every lad wants to do from like 15... to sleep with you or anything along those lines." He rolled his eyes at how my expression changed to that of shock.
"Not every boy wants to sleep with me Draco Merlin you are fucking ridiculous. Get a grip!" I yelled turning on my heels the fire inside me growing by the second knowing I needed to get myself out of the situation.
