Aurora's POV:

We were a week from finishing our third year at Hogwarts and to say that I was relieved to be able to go to the Burrow for some well-deserved rest was an understatement. I felt like I was constantly on edge ready to get involved and stop an argument between Draco and literally anyone just yesterday I had to argue with him for trying to bully Neville.

I had finished my last lesson of the day transfiguration and had just gotten changed into some more comfortable clothes when Hermione burst into my room like a dragon in a wand shop. She looked breathless, angry, and like she didn't quite know how to word what she wanted to tell me.

"Aurora they finally made a decision on what to do regarding Hagrid and Buckbeak." She said her chest still heaving.

"Well don't leave me in anticipation Hermione tell me!" I responded eyes wide knowing the news wouldn't be good.

"Hagrid's not getting fired but Buckbeak is being sentenced to death today as in the executioner, Mr. Malfoy along with the Minster and Dumbledore are on their way to Hagrid's hut right now." With the last word leaving her mouth we both took off running from the common room towards Hagrid's hut bumping into Harry and Ron in one of the corridors on the way. In the time it took us to get to the lookout point just above Hagrid's my anger was unmatchable all directed towards the one and only Draco Malfoy. He better pray he doesn't come across me I thought just as I saw the blond with his two goons looking at the hut hiding behind some rocks for cover.

Marching my way towards him I began yelling," YOU...YOU- I CANNOT BELIEVE YOU DRACO MALFOY!" He quickly turned on his heels to face me his jaw slightly ajar in shock at my harsh tone.

"What the hell is up your arse? What gives you a reason to talk to me like that?!" He growled in response.

"I TOLD MYSELF THAT IF I CAME ACROSS YOU I WOULD HEX YOU SO YOU COULDN'T WALK OR TALK FOR A WEEK SO YOU BETTER GET RUNNING MALFOY." My chest was rising and falling so fast it made me feel slightly light-headed but I drew my wand raising it so the tip was touching just under his chin.

"You better fucking lower that wand Aurora or I swear to Merlin I will make you fucking regret it. I don't understand why you are so wound up about a bloody chicken." He spat, Harry and Ron instinctively went to stand at either side of me wearing threatening glairs.

"HE IS NOT A FUCKING CHICKEN! YOU WERE THE ONE IN THE WRONG HOW CAN YOU BE SO DIM WHITTED TO APPROACH A HIPPOGRIFF WITHOUT BOWING?! BUT NO DRACO MALFOY CAN'T ADMIT HE IS IN THE WRONG, FUCK RIGHT OFF." I screamed lowering my wand to plant a slap right across his smug smirk which had appeared there when I began yelling. His hand slowly went to touch his cheek touching the quickly reddening area, as he roughly grabbed my face I felt the cold metal of his rings against my flushed skin.

"One day Aurora you'll regret that maybe not today or even in a year but one day you will regret it, for now I will forget it just because it is you though." He whispered in my ear so only I could hear causing goosebumps to rise on my skin. Dropping his hand from my face he walked off with his goons just missing the executioner murdering Buckbeak.

The next events came as a blur Ron's rat managed to run away and then Ron got taken by a rabid dog into a hole in the Whomping Willow. Harry, Hermione, and I managed to get to the hole after nearly getting killed by the Whomping Willow, the dog wasn't actually a dog though it was Sirius Black, and then out of nowhere, Lupin turned up claiming Sirius was innocent and it was, in fact, Ron's rat who was to blame for the betrail of Harry's parents. Ron's rat turned out to be Peter Pettigrew and then Snape turned up somehow after all that we all ended up outside and of course Professor Lupin turned into a werewolf launching himself on me and as I fell to the ground and banged my head my vision turned black. Yes, that's a lot to take in I'm sure now imagine how we all felt absolutely flabbergasted.

I woke up slightly to the sound of Ron saying something about Harry and Hermione being in two places at once . Then I felt a pounding in my head I was well and truly absolutely exhausted and I didn't want to open my eyes, they felt like ten ton weights though I could hear everything going on around me including the door opening again .

"And where do you think you're going Malfoy because I can't think of a single reason you would need to be here," Hermione stated quite sassily.

"Granger I really don't want to be arguing with you right now so if you can let me go see my girlf- I mean Aurora that would be great." He stuttered over his words before I assume Hermione moved so he could come to my bedside. I felt his fingers brush stray hairs behind my ears before cupping my cheek and rubbing his thumb back and forth across it.

"How am I supposed to be mad at you when you always find ways to get hurt," He whispered and I began opening my eyes fluttering them so my vision would clear.

"Your forgiven," I croaked out.

"Thank Merlin." He sighed in relief that I was awake.

Narrator's POV:

Sadly Lupin decided that it was best he hand in his resignation at the end of the year much to many students' dismay. Aurora and Ron were both back on their feet by the end of the term and the trio were constantly throwing questions Aurora's way about her and Draco though she continued to deny it all simply laughing it off.

When the Hogwarts Express finally stopped in London Aurora and Draco managed to sneak a few moments together to get a hug and kiss and ensure they would write to each other during the summer. Both heading separate ways and kissing goodbye to their third year at Hogwarts. Now If you thought this year was an eventful wait for next year you won't be dissapointed.
