Aurora's POV:

It had been just over a month since that night and I hadn't heard from Draco not that he was required to keep me updated on his life anymore but it seemed so normal for him to be a part of my daily schedule that not hearing from him gave me slightly anxiety. There had been rumors that the Death Eaters were living in the Malfoy manor and that didn't shock me but I couldn't help but imagine how Draco slept in that cold manor. Did he fear that one of his fellow Death Eaters would attack him in his sleep for not fully fufilling his task?

The weather was doing wonders to keep my mind off things this summer and Fred had spent every day since being the most amazing human being keeping me company and finding things for us to do. One day he took me to a flower field so that we could use this muggle camera called a Polaroid which instantly printed out photos. Another day he took me to London where we went shopping and then for food and on a different day we spend the whole day trying out new inventions for his and George's shop. England was well into its summer and Ron was acting as though we were in Egypt complaining about being burnt every second. Fred and George were doing the exact same to complaining constantly except they spend every second of every day topless and in shorts yeah that was interesting.

Since we had to be 18 to officially do magic outside Hogwarts and my birthday had long past Fred, George, Hermione, Ron, Harry and I decided we would go to my grandparent's home in Bulgaria for the weekend. The castle was only a twenty-minute walk from the beach and there were hundreds of rooms so it only seemed fitting that we all go and act like teenagers for once in our lives. We deserved it. So off we went and it felt like a breath of fresh air being home the air was humid and no one could wait to go to the beach.

I quickly went to my room changing into a slightly revealing ocean blue bikini with a white slip over that was practically seethrough, not forgetting to bring bottles of fire-whiskey in my beach bag. I ran to the living room joining everyone else who had also changed into their swimming attire and we made our way to the beach Hermione and I made conversation talking about things but in what felt like no time we reached the beach.

I laid down my towel next to Hermione's slipping off my dress and putting on some suncream accompanied with some sunglasses finally setting down to let the sun bake my skin. I enjoyed the peace for a while occasionally my mind would flicker to Draco but I knew it wasn't good for me to do that after everything I needed to move on. The thought let my eyes subconsciously flicker to the rings that still sat comfortably on my ring finger I hadn't even thought about taking them off nor did I want to, I'd do it when it felt right.

After a few minutes, it almost became deadly silent and I knew it was suspicious until I felt an entire bucket of lukewarm seawater plummet its way onto my skin causing me to jolt up screaming bloody murder though it turned into a giggle when I took off my glasses to find a hysterical Fred. He had a childish grin on his face clutching his stomach as he laughed a hearty laugh.

"You are dead Weasley!" I exclaimed standing up and beginning to chase the ginger boy into the sea when the water reached our knees Fred began chasing me instead and with him being taller than a giant and me smaller than a mouse he caught me quickly. Wrapping his arms around my waist he pushed me backward to we both crashed into the sea and neither of us could stop laughing. It took us both a few seconds to stop laughing and for us to realize how close we were his arms wrapped around me and mine laying on his chest when we both stopped laughing I caught his eyes drifting to my lips and my breathing hitched in my throat.

"FRED AURORA COME ON WE ARE STARVING!" Ron yelled across the beach causing Fred and me to stand up laughing awkwardly as we ran back to everyone.

That night I couldn't sleep it was one of those nights where my thoughts were only on Draco on how Voldermort could literally kill us any second. Here we were in Bulgaria living our best teenage lives as if this wasn't happening how stupid were we? I found myself walking through the living room to the courtyard, I flicked the lights on which light up the seating area and the water fountain and I found myself sitting on the double rocking swing letting the wind gently move it. My silk bed shorts and the top did nothing to warm me in the chilly night and goosebumps trailed on my skin letting my mind have something else to think about. I tucked my knees close to my chest wrapping my arms around them my gaze lifted to the clear sky that bare stars and a full moon.

"You must be freezing out here wearing that?" My head snapped to the door and there stood a half-asleep half topless Fred as he was halfway through taking off his sweatshirt.

"What are you doing?" I questioned tilting my head as he stepped closer holding it for me to grab which I did gratefully.

"Your room is next to mine I heard you get up and there you were looking like you were freezing so I thought I'd be a gentleman," He smiled sitting next to me looking up at the sky like I had been doing before he came.

"Well thank you, Freddie," I smiled leaning to give him a kiss on his cheek which he smiled in return. We sat in a comfortable silence for hours simply watching the stars at some point my head fell onto Fred's lap and he began playing with my hair for the first time in over a month I felt safe.
