Narrator's POV:
Friday night's detention was by far the worst of all the week to have detention and not for the typical reason that Fridays were the last day of the week but because quidditch matches fell on a Friday. So for Draco that meant not playing and for Aurora it meant not cheering her house on.
Snape had Draco and Aurora tidying the potions room after the first year's last lesson of the day. The room looked like a battle had taken place substances everywhere cauldrons everywhere and Snape had ensured that the pair would not use magic and placed a spell so that they could only leave once they had cleaned the room.

Aurora had plenty of experience cleaning up messes because at her grandparents when they tended to magical creatures she had to clean their area out once an animal had been rehabilitated. Draco, on the other hand, had always been tended to every want, need, and desire he had from the day he was born so he wasn't enjoying cleaning nor was he doing a good job. All he was doing a good job at was irritating Aurora by muttering things under his breath and ensuring everything he did Aurora had to go over.

"You know what why don't you just sit down and let me do this it will be much quicker," She continued cleaning motioning to a seat at the front of the class that had been fully cleaned. Draco didn't complain doing as he was told and sitting down at the front of the class and watching Aurora at work.

"For what it's worth I am sorr-" He began, "Don't just please don't you don't mean it so stop." Aurora said in response a hint of annoyance still in her tone as she continued to clean the room slowly near to the end.

"Aurora can you just listen for like one minute without getting all moody and sassy," He pleaded getting up from his seat and stalking closer to her which she just ignored trying to seem unphased, "I am sorry for calling you foul names and getting angry I am not sorry for addressing the issue because even Granger found it strange." He replied by which time he had reached Aurora's side silently praying she understood his viewpoint.

"I am not going to stop talking to him Draco but if he offers to hold my bag or tries to kiss my cheek I will say something okay?" She finally finished cleaning walking to the window to see the quidditch pitch.

"Go get changed the game is still going if you hurry they might let you substitute and play I know that's why you have been grumbling," She smiled at him raising her eyebrows in response when he walked to her wrapping both his arms around her waist lifting her off her feet spinning her around which caused her to let a squeak leave her lips and a giggle which followed.

"You are incredible and I am sorry, now I am going to beat Potter's arse so I hope to see you in the stands." Placing a rushed kiss on her lips he ran out of the room faster than she had ever seen him go even as fast as the day he ran to the sweet shop in first year.

As much as she wanted to go cheer on her house everyone had been overly suspicious of the pair since their outburst and she had been avoiding people all week. If people didn't count Fred of course who she had been confiding in and who had brought her food each day because she refused to go into the great hall.

So instead she made her way to the Astronomy tower where she could watch in peace and since it was a clear night looked at the beautiful night sky. Once she reached the top she grabbed a blanket she had hidden up there years ago wrapping herself up and sitting on the floor, accioing some chocolates. Not long later she saw her familiar blond being chased by Harry for the snitch doing a loop before catching it winning for Slytherin earning a smile from Aurora.

She was absentmindedly using her want to draw with balls of light and she heard footsteps approaching the top of the tower. Turning around she found a slightly breathless Draco carrying a picnic basket.

"I think congratulations are in order," Aurora beamed as Draco sat down.

"Why thank you I would have come quicker but I needed to have a shower, I did bring us food though since we haven't had a date in a while." He smiled down at her before she lept from her seat directly onto his lap earning a laugh as he placed a gentle kiss on her lips.

The evening went by with much joy and laughter a change to the past few weeks of arguments both were grateful for that. Feeling as though their relationship had nearly slipped away from them and you might even be thinking Aurora's fairytale is finally getting better? She lives in a world of witches and wizards sadly it is not so easy they both need to fight to prove what they have will always prevail so don't get comfortable.

Aurora's POV:

The time approached 11 pm and me and Draco agreed it was probably time to make our way to the dorms he always walked me to make sure I didn't get caught and I think he liked the extra 10 minutes with me. As we finally approached the painting for Gryfindor I couldn't help the thought which had been at the front of my mind all night coming to the surface again and It slipped from my lips without a second thought," Draco I don't want to hide our relationship anymore I'm tired of it I want to walk freely around the halls with you and cheer you on at games,"

"Darling I want nothing more but I haven't figured out a way to tell everyone and what about your friends and my father?" He questioned immediately my heart dropped.

"I don't care about my friends Draco they will come around but if you are too embarrassed by me to tell your father I see how it is. Goodnight," I replied leaving behind a frustrated Draco in my wake.

The second I walked into the common room and saw Freddie sitting on the couch I couldn't help the silent tears which fell down my cheeks. His smile which he showed me the second I walked in dropping the second he saw my state opening his arms making me instantly run into his arms.

"What's up princess?" He asked so quite afraid to upset me further.

"I think Draco's embarrassed by me I asked him if we could come out with our relationship and he said he couldn't because of his father," I sobbed into his chest.

"Aurora I think there is more to it than you realize," He responded. He is sticking up for him what the hell. At that, I nodded mumbling he was right so I could just leave the room and go to my bed I was exhausted.
