Abdul...
"Just a few minutes' drive took me to the hospital. As I walked in, I met the doctor, who told me they have given Sufyan a sedative, but he would soon wake up. I pulled up a chair and sat beside his bed, gazing at his face impatiently, waiting for him to stir. "Ya Allah, bro, wake up now!" I bit my lips, looking at his face again before leaning back in the chair, lost in thought. Before I knew it, I have drifted off to sleep.

I wasn't sure how long I'd been asleep, but the slight movement of Sufyan's hand caught my attention. I jerked awake, my eyes locking onto his face. His eyes are still closed, but his fingers twitched again. I sat up straight, my heart racing with excitement.

"Sufyan, bro, can you hear me?" I asked, my voice shaking slightly. His eyes fluttered open, and he looked around the room, confused. When his gaze landed on me, a faint smile crossed his lips.

"Hey," he whispered, his voice hoarse from the sedative.

I let out a sigh of relief, "Hey, bro," I replied, smiling back at him. "Welcome back."

His eyes drooped again, and I know he needed rest. I stood up, stretching my stiff muscles. "I'll let you rest, bro. I'll be here when you wake up again," I muttered softly.

As I turned to leave, his weak voice stopped me. "Don't...don't go."

I turned back to him, smiling. "I'm not going anywhere, bro. I'll be right here," I reassured him, taking his hand in mine.

His grip on my hand was weak, but it is enough to make me feel a sense of connection. I sat back down beside him, watching as he drifted in and out of consciousness. The doctor came in a little while later, checking his vitals and nodding in approval.

"He's going to be okay," the doctor said with a smile. "You can stay with him, but try to get some rest too. You've been through a lot."

I nodded, But I couldn't bring myself to leave Sufyan's side. I stayed with him, holding his hand and watching over him as he slept.

Sufyan's condition stabilized, and he slept more soundly. I dozed off again, my head leaning against the back of the chair. But this time, I am aware of every movement Sufyan made, ready to respond if he needed anything. The first sunlight crept into the room, casting a warm glow over his face. He stirred, opening his eyes and looking at me with a smile.

"Hey," he whispered again, his voice a little stronger now.

I smiled back, "Hey, bro," I replied, squeezing his hand gently. "You're going to be okay."

"What time is it?"he questioned

I glanced at my watch. "It's evening , bro. You've been out for a while," I replied, smiling.

He nodded, wincing slightly as he moved. "I feel like I've been hit by a truck," he said, trying to joke.

I laughed. "You look like it, too,

He chuckled, then grimaced in pain. "Okay, maybe not that funny," he mumbled , smiling weakly.

I grinned, happy to see him joking around again. "Don't worry, bro. You're going to be okay," I reassured him, squeezing his hand gently.

The room door opened and I saw the rest of the family walking. How are you feeling habibi his mother questioned him as she settles beside him

Hid face lit up with a weak smile as his mother settled beside him. "I'm okay, mommy," he replied, Just a little tired."

Ummi , gently stroked his hair, You're going to be fine, habibi," You're strong, and you'll get through this."

He nodded, smiling at Ummi ," Thanks for being here."
