Inyeop's POV

"Can I try that?" Jisung asked referring to the thing inserted to Caius "It looks cute"

"You want to try it because it looks cute? Oh come on!" Changbin

"Shut up" Hyunjin

"Fuck! Why did I lose the game?" Jeongin

"Because you didn't let me teach you" Minho

"As if he knows how the game works" Seungmin

"Oooooh!!!" Chan shouted

Everyone started laughing at how Seungmin made a move to Minho. They are all noisy inside the room. The eight of them when Caius wasn't here in Korea yet. I witnessed how they all grew up together and stayed by each others' side. Every moment was precious as they all made it together. I still remember how they survived every fights, battles, problems and situations they can't handle before. I admire how they all made each other feel that no matter what it is, everyone got one's back.

Those smiles, laughs and cry made them stronger. It made them a better version of themselves. They fought with others, fought with each other and all but that didn't became a reason for them to leave the friendship they have. Those struggles they faced when they were still young, I want to say thank you struggle for building such good and strong men.

I know and I hope that their friendship will last forever no matter how old they are. No matter how hard it is to meet with each other, even if they have their own family. As long as they got each others' back. It's all good. All of them, Chan, Hyunjin, Felix, Jeongin, Seungmin, Changbin, Minho and Jisung. I hope they all will be friends in the next 20 or more years. I know they will lasts longer. I hope they will.

It's going to be hard for all of us since Caius who became part of their group of friends and my cousin will leave soon. I hope we are enough strong to face and accept the truth. It's going to be hard for Hyunjin since he grew up with Caius when I left Korea. I know his friends won't leave his side.

I am wrong when I said no one will be there for him because I know there are people who will always be there no matter what happens.

Those people he treasures ever since he was young. I know they will be always there for him.

I am thankful for that.

Always, thankful to see them making him happy.

"Mr. Hwang Inyeop" a nurse called

"Yes?"

"Doctor Yuan wants to see you" nurse

I nodded and smiled "I'll be there"

She smiled back and left me.

I smile once again and made sure they are having fun as I left the private room. I went to Doctor Yuan's office, he is Caius's doctor and my schoolmate when I was in College at States. I sat there and watched him read something.

"Hwang Inyeop" he called while still looking at the documents "You know that the disease he has is incurable, right?"

"Yes"

"Your cousin's condition is getting worse. I tried to do my best to save him but there's no solution at all. I called the other hospitals I know from other countries but there's really no solution at all. If only he had come he for checkups when he found out about his condition. We might be able to save him from might what happen" Doctor Yuan

"Is there really nothing you can do?"

"I'm sorry but there's really nothing I can do. I tried and kept studying about his condition although I am familiar with it. You know there's not even much patients with such condition. We should've known how to treat it or prevented it if he only went here to tell us sooner" Doctor Yuan

Damn it.

"You know, Caius is getting weaker and we don't know until when he will survive. He is just fighting for his life, once he get tired, he won't make it. Maybe next week, next day, tomorrow, later or right now. We don't know when he will give up. We just need to watch him as much as we can" Doctor Yuan

I nodded.

He just told me some reminders ans I left the office. I can't cry and I don't want to cry. As I arrived in the private room, I saw them all outside.

"Are you all going home?"

"Yes, we will come back tomorrow or next time. Caius said he is fine and will try to go to the hospital" Jisung

They know about his condition. Why are they acting like they don't? Did Caius told them about some lies?

"Take care you all" I smiled as I watched them walk away from where I am

I entered the room and saw Caius sighed.

"I-Inyeop" he whispered

"Why?"

"I-If ever I asked them t-to save me, they can't, r-right?" Caius

FUCK.

"Why am I even asking? I should've asked it sooner, why now? Why am I regretting not trying to ask them before when I found out? Why now?" Caius chuckled

"I'm sorry"

"Inyeop, before I am scared of dying that I can't even walk in the middle of the highway" he laughed like a crazy man

"Caius-"

His tears started falling "B-But why am I scared of dying now?"
