Chapter 01 

I'm looking out my window here in my room, watching the orange sky means sunset. I smiled, because I love it. It felt surreal, it's beautiful. 

It's 6pm in the evening when I decided to look for my dress and start to prepare myself. My dad has a business dinner, he wanted us to wear formal clothes. 

I sighed, when I saw my reflection in the mirror. I'm not good at this, I don't know how to put proper powder in my face. I don't know how to put lipstick on my lips as well. 

It took me a minute when I decided to put a light powder and I didn't bother to use lipstick. I'm fine with my lips tonight, I just comb my hair and check my braces together with my eye glasses. 

"Ano ka ba namang bata ka, ang tagal mo sa kwarto mo pero hindi ka man lang talaga nag ayos" manang said while looking at me. 

Tinignan ko rin ang sarili ko, it is not fine? Napakamot ako sa batok ko. This is really fine for me. 

"Ayos na po ako rito". Sagot ko, at nagsimula nang bumaba sa hagdan namin. 

Napatingin sa akin si Sin nang makita ako, I can't deny how handsome he is. He has our mother's eyes, fair skin, red lips and clean cut hair. He is tall as well, because he's playing basketball. 

"Anong ayos, 'yan?" Puna niya.

"Ayos na ako rito". 

Natahimik siya ng makita na sila mommy at daddy kasama ang ka meeting ni dad, nasa kaparehas na field lamang namin sila. My family owned chains of hospitals not just here but in other countries, they are licensed doctors, a dean lister's, graduated with latin honors. 

I'm in a family of doctors, my ancestors are doctors, my grandparents and my parents. I have one brother, he is my twin actually. 

"By the way Mr. Vergara, this is my son Kyle Sin Montevilla" dad, introduced Sin to the man beside him. 

"You're heiress". 

"Yes, he is. He's really good in his academics, a top student and actually a basketball team captain of their school". 

"That's good, mabuting habang bata ay nag pupursige na". 

"Tama ka, I'm really proud of this son of mine. Because I knew he'll become the man I want him to be". 

My eyes darted on a girl beside the man, I knew her. But, I don't know where the first time I saw her. 

My dad reached for my hand, "This is his twin, Karen Sion". My dad simply introduced me. 

I knew it, everytime he had a business meeting, he didn't bother to praise me. Because yeah! I don't have a lot of achievements unlike Sin.

"This is my daughter, Kathrina Ellaine Vergara". 

Umabante ang babaeng kanina ko pang tinitignan, she's serious looking in my twin. Kaya napalingon ako kay Sin, he's cool while glancing at the girl in front of us. 

The man told us that we're not on the same level, but we're in the same school. Doon ko lang nalaman na minsan na silang nag laban ni Sin sa isang debate sa science. 

"Ang balita ko nga ay nanalo ang anak mo" Mr. Vergara said, we're heading to our dining area. 

"Siguro ay hindi nakapag aral ang anak mo ng maayos kaya nangyari 'yun. I'm confident with my son, but I knew that your daughter forgave him".
