~Third Person~

The two species charged at each other full throttle. Leander headed for Derangus, meanwhile, Dominic charged toward Narcissus. No one held any punches. Blood was drawn and lives were already taken. From the outside looking in, it would be hard to decipher whom was winning and whom was losing. However, one thing is for sure, the hate ran deep between the two species and it showed.

Back and forth

I couldn't stop.

My mind was running a mile a minute about this war. I knew the war had started by now and not knowing the status of everyone terrified me. My mind reminded me of the stories Dom told me about the Corwins. How back in the day they were the most feared supernatural beings there were in Anipadra. Despite Leo's family somewhat had a good standing relationship with them - Dom's family didn't have that luxury.

Allegedly Derangus got power hungry and wanted to rule over the Lienthians as well as the Azeditarians. And how exactly does one achieve such a thing?

Divide and conquer.

Dom says that Derangus killed his mother and tried to blame it on Leo's mother. But Dom never had the evidence to prove that story to the masses. That however set off the chain of events to Goddess Amora cursing the land - and Leo and Dom's parents never reconciled their differences before they all were laid to rest.

I could tell Dominic was still pained by it all and therefore has his own personal rage for the Corwin family. The good thing is that Leo and Dom saw through the bulls**t and still made it out as best friends....until me.

It did make me wonder a few things; Why did Derangus all of a sudden want to rule over the Lienthians? Was it just a spirit? Or did something happen? Because before that point, everyone pretty much got along. I didn't understand it.

"Well well well. Finding you was easier than I thought," A voice said from behind me. Slowly I turned around to face the one and only Evelyn Winder. She stood in her usual color of choice, a white leather jumpsuit, that clung tightly around her frame but making sure her breasts were slightly exposed.

With a smirk on her face, she ran her fingers through her red shoulder length hair before speaking again, "Hello little miss troublemaker."

"That's not my f**king name, Evelyn."

"Ooooh, in a feisty mood already I see."

"Which is another reason why you should leave me the f**k alone," I threatened.

She rolled her eyes, "Oh please. Save me the dramatics please. We can either do this the easy way or the hard way. Your choice. And lets not forget I'm a very powerful witch, so choose wisely," She threatened right back.

"Do I get a choice, sister?"

From the shadows, Eila suddenly appeared. Eila's black gown flowed effortlessly with the wind as she walked closer to us both. Evelyn's expression changed to that of shock. She wasn't expecting Eila to appear and it clearly showed.

The two Winder sisters finally stood in front of one another again.

"Lyn," Eila said warmly.

"Eila," Evelyn replied coldly.

Reading Eila's face, I could tell her sister's response bothered her. But, I honestly didn't expect anything different coming from Evelyn. She's definitely not the sister Eila remembers.
