*Meanwhile during the war*

The war suddenly unfroze and continued on without a hitch. The shapeshifters were not aware of the sudden overlap of time. Instead, many were focused on making the other species extinct - including King Narcissus who was very determined to taking off Dominic's head.

He stared across the way at his feline opponent, Dominic staring back at him. Both with fire in their eyes. The fire never ceased, despite the constant combating against one another for a lengthy amount of time. They still had unforeseen amount of energy left and didn't plan on stopping until one or the other was killed.

"Not ready to give up yet?" Narcissus taunted.

"Never," Dominic's Lion replied in Narcissus' head.

They began circling one another, "We both know what we're fighting for."

Dominic agreed with that statement. They both knew the primary reason why they were fighting. They also knew whom they were fighting for. It was bigger than just the history of rivalry they shared. They were fighting for their future - the future of their species - and all reasons intertwined with one another.

They stopped in their respective places, ready for their final showdown.

*Meanwhile in another area of the war*

Angelic and Leander both stared at one another with distain for each other. Not too long after their unfroze from their positions, Angelic launched at Leander to continue what they had started.

Brutal and ruthless were her attacks.

Swift and equally ruthless were Leander's counterattacks.

Angelic had age and strength on her side but Leander had persistence and calculated thoughts on his. And because of this, they were evenly matched.

Angelic had now become agitated of how long it was taking before she killed Leander. She had never thought it would have taken her this long to kill anyone, let alone a measly young Lion. She began to question herself and the strength of her as a Corwin and that pissed her off.

'Enough of this, game.' She thought.

She had no more time to waste. The possession of Hazel was on the line.

Before Angelic had a chance to make her final and deadly blow to Leander, Eila suddenly appeared next to him - surprising Leander and Angelic both.

"Eila?! What the f**k girl?" Leander said in Eila's head.

"No time, Leo. Goddess Amora showed me something! We have to help Nic now!" Eila said before she said a spell, quickly taking them both to where Dominic was.

*Back to Another Area of the War*

Roan was living up to his name. Tearing Lienthians from limb to limb and enjoyed every part of it. Covered in glorious color of blood red, he zeroed in on his next target from afar - Evander. The brown Lion continued to kill each and every Zeebrian that dared to stand in it's way. However, according to Red, Evander's death was long overdue.

He prepared himself for attack and took a step toward Evander, but not before Clover interceded - standing between Evander and Red. She was one of the few Lienthians in battle that hadn't turned into her Lion - she didn't feel the need to. She held her own just fine in her human form, despite the few hits and scratches acquired from the Zeebrians.
