Hazel.

The woman I constantly think of and the woman I am in love with. My mate. My love. And hopefully one day, I'll be honored to call her my wife and mother of my cubs.

Not only is she physically beautiful, she's beautiful on the inside as well. Her will is stronger than any human I've ever met. Her spirit could lift a million tons. She's funny and  caring. She's a natural nurturer and charmer. It's hard not to fall in love with her.

Goddess Amora's automatic imprint on Hazel wasn't needed for me. I was a goner from the moment I laid eyes on her. My heart was hers and hers alone. Whether she accepted my imprint or not, she would always have my heart in her hands.

Learning more and more about her made me fall in love with her more than she or I could even imagine. Although I can't let myself inside of her mind and thoughts, I made sure to be in tune with her in many other ways. Paying attention to every mannerism she had. I studied my lady like a book. I was able to let myself listen to her heart beat. If she was in close range, you better believe I took every opportunity to listen to the beautiful song in her chest.

That song brought me comfort. That song brought me joy. That song played the music of love. That song brought me hope. That song brought me and my Lion sanity.

But she was determined to push me away. She had become so sure that she was pushing me away, that she never realized how much drawn to her I became. I was here to stay. Yes, the situation with her ex-husband back in America wounded me, as her mate and as her protector. I, as my human form tried my best to lick the wounds out of sight, but the emotions read clear across my face, thanks to my Lion.

One thing my Lion has never felt was, emotional pain--needless to say, he didn't take too kindly to that feeling. I wrestled with him for days for him to calm down but I lost the battle and therefore showing how disappointed I was in Hazel and I ultimately left that way. I left her with that unsolved resolution. I'm usually not the one to leave a situation on a sour note--my Lion felt differently.

Once Leo and I returned to Storm Winters, since the border between both sides of the world had not yet been lifted, there wasn't much damage to repair. Clover thought to call us once Narcissus cracked the border during his attempt to break through the weakened border. But because he has awoken before his time, the border still remains in place, so he and his royal personnel could not come over to our side and our royals couldn't go over to his side. But that didn't mean he didn't send his little minions to try and invade us from time to time. To attempt to handle his dirty work--pathetic.

I couldn't deny how much stronger he is now. Every day he has been risen from his slumber, he's grown stronger and stronger, but so have we. Our whole pride have been training nonstop for this war. We know it's going to happen, it's just a matter of when. This  upcoming war was long overdue and I planned to make sure we are victorious.
