~Hazel's POV~

"Do you not like your meal, babe?" Dominic said.

I blinked a mile a minute before looking down at my plate of food that had been barely touched.

"Of course I do," I said taking my first big bite of the food.

"You don't have to lie to me, babe. If you don't like it just let me know, so I can get better for you."

Awww! He's so sweet.
I feel bad now.
I should just tell him what's in my mind.

"I'm not lying, the food is really good. I didn't know you're such a great chef."

He blushed--d**n this man was sexy! I couldn't help but smile back at him.

"Well, tell me what's on your mind then."

Just tell him, Hazel.
Fine.
I sighed.

"I want to go back to see Eila," I blurted out.

"Tonight? Hazel, you saw what happened to her tonight, she needs to get her rest."

"I'm not talking about tonight, I'm talking about whenever she recovers."

"Whatever she said must have triggered something in you."

I nodded, "I just, I just want clarification on some things."

"I can understand that and you deserve answers."

"Thank you, honey."

I love how he's so understanding. Still, that wasn't something I wasn't quite used to yet.

"Would you like for me to attend with you?" He asked.

No.
"Sure, I'd like that."

"Or would you prefer to go consult with her alone?" He asked.

Yes.
"No, you can come with."

"Are you sure?"

No.
"Yes."

"Then we shall go in a few days time," he smiled his contagious smile and continued eating his delicious food. And I fell suit eventually.

Later on that night, after some intense kissing, we cuddled. He was like my personal night warmer and a dream come true. He was the man that my mother would love for me to marry, to be his mate. He was the man completely different than Zaim--he was the man I deserved.

But something was missing.
And I couldn't figure out what.
What was it?
Why haven't I said yes to Dom yet?

Was it because I was truly scarred from my last marriage or was it because of something else?
I need to talk to Eila and I needed to do it now.

Dom's grip on me tightened when he felt me move, "Are you okay?" He was so sweet.

I kissed him on his soft cupid-bow shaped lips, "I'll be back. Go back to sleep hun."

He trusted me. He trusted me a whole lot, which is why he believed me and went back to sleep. Meanwhile, I slipped on some clothes as quietly as I could before going outside. It was barely dark out and the sun slowly crept up. Through the misty air, I slowly made my way through the forest. I sort of remembered how to get back there. I just had to trust my instincts.

In the meanwhile, the more I walked, the deeper in thought I got. Tuning out pretty much everything.

I had to speak with her. Maybe she could answer the questions I had: about Dom and I, about my life and myself and Lea-
