Chapter 35- Underwater Secrets

Now that the ball is over and in the past, the next focus was the second tasks. We know that the clue to the task is in the golden egg but we need to figure out how to open it with out that god awful screech coming out of it. I was in the Library reading any book that I could find to do with anything that could help us open the egg, I was making notes on things that could be handy to know but nothing on how to open thr egg. I was doing this alone so people wouldn't get suspicious and we wouldn't get in trouble for helping the champions. I had my head deep in the book I was reading which was about previous Tri- Wizard Tournament but there was nothing on the golden egg, there was however a bit that states always expect the unexpected, try every last thing to get the clue even if you think its bizzare. I wrote this down on my parchment when a note landed infront of me, I looked around to see where it came from but no one was there, I slowly opened it to see it was from Ced, the note said:

         Dear My Sweetheart
                 
                               I hope you are enjoying your 'study' session. I would very much like to spend some alone time with you before things become hectic again for with the second task. So, meet me outside the Prefects bathroom on the Third Floor at 7pm and bring a towel and change of clothes, you may need them.

I smiled at the note and his nickname which he actually doesn't like but I think it is cute. The bathrooms, i'm nervous are we going to be having a bath, I guess so, why would he tell me to bring a towel if that wasn't what he had planned. That means he will be seeing me naked and that scares me, my body is far from perfect, I'm neither skinny nor Fat but i'm chubby. I trust Cedric, so it will all be fine and I have nothing to worry about. 7pm would be just after dinner and it gives us enough time to chill as curfew isn't till 11pm tonight as its the weekend, which also means there is a high chance someone could see us heading into the bathroom together which won't end well for us if that's the case. I finished dinner and headed back to the dorm rooms with Regan, when I walked through the door I walked straight to where I keep my towel and then over to my trunk to grab a new set of Pjs. I turned around to see Regan giving me a confused look, I shrugged and said "I forgot to tell you, I'm meeting Cedric in the third floor Prefect bathrooms for some alone time and to discuss the next task and how to get the clue" she shook her head and told me to be careful, I walked out laughing at her comment. I made my way to the third floor making sure no one was following me or that there was no one around, I arrived at the corridor to see Ced leaned against the wall waiting for my arrival, his head snapped my way when he heard my shoes on the concrete floor. He smiled at me while watching me walk closer to him, when I was infront of him he leaned down and gave me a kiss before opening the door to the bathroom. I took a few steps in and stopped at how beautiful the bathroom was, the bathtub was huge but looked so warm and relaxing. I looked around and studied the rest of the room when my eyes stopped on the golden egg sitting on the floor, I turned around to face Cedric who was just standing there watching me, I walked closer to him and said "I see you have brought the egg with you, actually a good thing as I was reading something earlier from past Tri-Wizards that you should try anything when it comes to getting a clue even if you think its stupid" he nodded in agreement "yeah I thought maybe we could try opening it in the water and maybe we might get the clue that way? anyway how about we get into the bath before it gets cold" I nodded and walked over to an area where I knew my clothes wouldn't get wet, I turned around to see that Cedric was already stripping off his clothes, he was toned and so confident. I turned to face away from him and started removing my clothes, I had removed my top and bottoms and was left in my underwear which was a red lacy number that I'm sure Ced is appreciating rigth now as I could feel him staring at me, I turned around to face before covering up my body with my hand which made him walk towards me and grabs my hands "you never have to cover up infront of my Sweetheart, You are beautiful" I nodded before reaching back and removing my bra and stepping out of my knickers leaving me completely naked just like Cedric was. Now that I'm not nervous I could finally study Cedric in his glory and he was defiantly more toned and packed than I expected. Cedric walked over and picked up the egg before we both walked over the bathtub and emerging oursleves in the hot water. I could get used to having a bath in here with Cedric. "should we try opening the egg under the water now see if that is the what we need to do?" I asked him, he nodded and grabbe dthe gg from the side before placing it in the water and opening it up, there was no screeching sound but there also wasn't any other sound coming from the egg, "maybe we should try listening to it with us under the water too" he shrugged in agreement. we took a deep breathe before sinking down under the surface, once under we re opened the egg to hear the beautiful song that could be heared from the egg, the clue was obviously in the song which sounded like this
