Chapter 36- Second Task

It's the second task  guys

After finding out the clue a few weeks ago, Cedric made sure to let Harry know how to find out the clue with out actually telling him the clue. The second task was tomorrow and we've spent the past can't remember how long trying to find ways of allowing someone to breathe under water for 1 hour becuase that how long they have to look for what ever has been taken and hidden under water in the Black lake. We've also been trying to figure out what exactly it is that would be taken from the Champions which was harder then you think becuase it could be anything. I was on my way back to my dorm room after spending the last few hours in the Library with Cedric "Studying" when I was stopped by Professor McGonagall "hello my dear, you have been invited to Professor Dumbledores's office, you are not in trouble but you need to attend, so if you attend the meeting at 2 am that would be great, make sure no one follows you or knows about this, please also wear uniform ." I looked at her confused but never questioned it. I headed back to the common room before changing into my pjs and getting into bed for the night as it was around 11pm right now. I didn't really get much sleep to be honest as I was too worried about what this meeting was about. I looked over at my clock and saw it was half 1 in the morning so I jumped out of bed, grabbed my uniform before heading to the bathroom to change into it so I don't wake the others. As I was leaving the bathroom I bumped into Hermione wearing her uniform as well. I looked at her confused and asked her if she was heading to Dumbledore's office too and she nodded.
We made our way towards Dumbledore's office. I had noticed as I got closer to the staircase that leads to his office that Ron and Fleur's little sister was standing there as if they was awaiting my arrival. I walked closer to them and asked them if they knew why we was here and they shrugged, all the sudden the stair started moving indication it was time for us to head up to see Professor Dumbledore. I was nervous, what could this be about, maybe he knows we have helped Cedric and Harry but then why isn't Regan here. As we entered the office waiting for us was Professor Dumbledore, Professor Snape, Professor McGonagall and Professor Sprout. I was getting more and more nervous now. They stood before us with there wands in thier hands which the slowly pointed at us, before we could question what was going on everything went black..

Regans PoV

It was the morning of the second task and I had just opened my eyes. "Lindsey Hermione are you guys up." I took a big stretch before sitting up and looking over to their beds. Both were empty. That's weird usually they'd wake me if they were up before me.

I grabbed all my things hand headed to the bathroom. Again neither of them were there. Maybe they figured out something and went down to tell Cedric and Harry. I got ready and headed down to the Great Hall for breakfast. I saw Harry eating alone. Where's Ron? I hurried over to him.

"Morning Harry have you seen the guys. Lindsey and Hermione where not in there beds when I got up this morning." He shook his head at me,
"I haven't seen Ron this morning or the girls. Maybe Cedric's seen them. He left not too long ago with his mate." I wish Harry good luck incase I didn't see him before the games started and headed out of the Great Hall in search of Cedric.

While I was looking for the others I bumped into a few of our class mates but they hadn't seen them. This is too weird. Everyone else seemed to be accounted for and I was the only one running round the castle like a headless chicken. After about an hour of searching I finally found Cedric who was walking with Taehyung. I haven't seen him since the night of the ball, I felt my chest flutter a little but now was not the time!

"Cedric! Wait." I yelled running towards them. "Have you seen Lindsey this morning?" Cedric hadn't and Taehyung asked me what was wrong. "Lindsey Hermione and Ron are all missing and I'm the only person who's seemed to notice. I've asked Harry and our classmates  but no one has seen them. I've looked everywhere, I don't know what to do." I lump formed in my throat. I don't know who else to ask or where they would be. I felt sick thinking of what might of happened.
"Regan I've got to head to meet the other Champions but I'm sure Taehyung will help. And if they still don't show up after the task we will speak to the Headmaster okay." I nodded and Cedric gave Taehyung a worried look before he went off to where he needed to be. Taehyung put his hands on my shoulders and tried to reassure me that we'd find them. Taehyung and I decided to take one half of the castel each and meet by the boats that will take us to the second task. Hopefully one of us will have some luck.
