Chapter 32- Dress Shopping.

You finally get to see the dress I will be wearing to the yule ball.

It's tuesday today which mean the weekend is going to be upon us and it's when Regan and I are planning on heading into Hogsmeade and to Madam Malkin's Robes for All Occasions where we would hopefully find the perfect dress for the Yule Ball. That is of course Ced actually asks me, Regan already has a date and a dress colour, and I'm meant to be the one with the boyfriend and he hasn't even asked me yet and the ball is in 2 week, 2 WEEKS. What a joke. I was walking along the corridor on my way to potions when I walked into a wall which I don't remember being in the middle of this corridor, I guess I was so deep in my thoughts I somehow managed to walk in a diagonal line into a wall, it was only when I looked up I realised that the wall was actually my hunk of a boyfriend. I looked up to his face and said "damn Ced, have you been working out because that hurt" Cedric just laughed at that comment before putting his arms around me and bringing me into a hug, I love hugging him he always smells amazing- Honey, wood and Cinnamon- such a beautiful blend. We pulled away as we realised we had classes to get to, but before I could walk away he grabbed my arm pulling me back and said "Stroll in the gardens with me tonight? We haven't had much alone time recently." I nodded and walked towards Professor Snapes class. I had finished my dinner rather quickly that night before rushing back to my dorm to change into something more apprporiate for an evening stroll round the gardens on the school grounds. I changed into my favourite pair of black High waisted Jeans, platform chuncky trainers and a hufflepuff jumper I had stolen from Cedric a few weeks ago, I also paired this with a wolley hat some gloves and a jacket as it was mid December so it was winter and very cold. I said goodbye to Regan and Hermione not with out them telling me to be back before Cerfew and to stay safe, I rolled my eyes at them beofre closing the door and walking down the many stairs and towards the gardens. It was already dark so I was very wary of where I was walking and of any noise that I heard. I had a feeling that there was someone following me but I couldn't hear any footsteps behind me, I was only a few minutes away from the gardens when I felt someone grab my shoulder and place a hand over my mouth to muffle my scream, I could recognised the scent filling my nose which allowed me to calm down and turn around to see if my guess was correct and of course I was. Stood before me was Draco, I rolled my eyes before turning away from him only to be stopped by his hand on my wrist turning me back round to face him. "In a hurry are we Udall?" I shook my head "No, I'm actually on my way to meet Cedric in the gardens for a night stroll if you really must know." he laughed "why is that funny to you Malfoy, it what you normally do when you are in a relationship with someown, you spend time with them." he scoffed "how long are you going to keep up this little act Lindsey, we both know that you don't really love Cedric, I know you can feel the sexual tension we share between us." It was my turn to laugh in his face "sexual tension, there is no sexual tension between us Draco, we fight all the time and you bully my friends, why would I ever be interested in you, now I have to go meet my BOYfriends" I didn't give him a chance to reply before walking away to find Cedric. I arrived at the gardens to see Ced standing next to a bench holding a few beautiful deep yellow roses waiting for my arrival. I stood there studying him for a few minutes becuase he looked so handsome in the moonlight, he soon noticed that I was standing there staring. He began walking towards me smiling so I smiled back before meeting him halfway. He handed me the roses which I thanked him for before standing on my tippie toes and giving him a kiss. I loved kissing him, he made the world seem peaceful and my legs feel like jelly. I really do think I love him. We walked towards the bench and sat down before Ced held my hand in his and slightly turned towards me, " Sweetheart, I'm sorry this has taken me so long but I wanted to find the most perfect way but nothing seemed good enough then remembered you like things minamalistic so here goes, Will you please be my beautiful date to the Yule Ball where we will spend the night dancing and laughing and all round enjoying oursleves?" I smiled like the cheshire cat before hugging him and accepting the offer. "I'm going dress shopping with Reegs on saturday so once I have my dress I'll let you know so you can match your tie to my dress, that is of course if you want to and don't already have your Dress robes?" he nodded "of course, I'd love to match with you." We stayed talking on the bench right up to curfew before seperating back to our dorms. Regan and Hermione were already in thier nightware so I quickly changed and put the roses in some water before sitting down and explain exactly what had happened with them before settling down for the night.
