Year 4- Chapter 25- The Holidays

This chapter will just be a filler chapter before year 4, will give you a insight to our home lives

The summer/school break is normally 3 months and normally you spend the first 2 weeks catching up with family, unpacking all your clothes and washing them so that exactly what I had done, don't get me wrong I do washing while at Hogwarts but the last few weeks of school are always the busiest so never really have time to so always do it when I get home. Today was the first day that I would be seeing Regan and spending some time with her family, not really sure on what we will be doing but I think we will probably head into the local town and do some muggle shopping and maybe go for a meal. I had sent Cedric, Hermione and Ron a letter this morning so should hopefully hear from them soon, I was excited to hear from Cedric, I have a feeling we will become extremely close over this break. I was dressed in my Black high waisted ripped jeans, an oversized t-shirt and my chuncky platform trainers, I grabbed my backpack that had my purse and a few other essentials in it. I said goodbye to my mum and dad before walking down the road to where Regan lives, she was already waiting outside for me. We was only heading to the town where the shops are which is only a 10 minute walk. I can't imagine that we will be out for very long as there isn't much down in town and lets face it I'm not made of money even though my father gave me some spending money. We had arrived in town now and it was fairly busy but not crowded so we didn't have to spend ages queing for in the stores. We didn't really have anything inparticular that we need maybe a few shower and basic clothing items for the new year but we will get most of the other supplies we need in Diagon alley when we go towards the end of the year. I needed some new body wash,shampoo and conditioner not really the type of things you'll find in a wizard shop, I also needed a few pairs of my favourite jeans and some warm thick jumpers as i've outgrown all my old ones, I've grown a few inches taller and my boobs have grown a whole cupsize since last christmas. Lucky enough for me I like baggy oversized clothes so I don't have to replace my whole wardrobe. Regan and I finished off our shopping trip with some tea at a cafe that is on the way back to Regan's house, we don't drink coffee so Tea or hot chocolate it is. When we got back to Regan's I had noticed that Star my owl was waiting for us in her bedroom with what looks like some letters, It could be a response from the others. I walk over to Star grabbed the letters and gave her a head rub which is her favourite thing. As suspected there was 3 letters, one from Ron, one from Hermione and the last one was from Cedric,I opened the one from Ron and Hermione, sounds like we Mr Weasley had managed to get tickets from the Ministry for the Quidditch World Cup in August but details will follow later because we would all be going from the Burrow. Hermione was doing well, doing homework and studying as per usual but she was excited to see us again and was looking forward the World cup.The last letter to open was from Cedric I was nervous to open it for some reason but I knew there was nothing to worry about but a part of me still did.

My Sweetheart

I'm already counting down the days until the start of school again just so I can see your beautiful face and of course do my school work, but you know what I mean. My idea for this break was to get to know you, I feel like I know you but still don't know a lot about you. It's impossible for us to meet because my father is very strict on me doing anything other than studying and school prep in the holidays but once we reunite at school nothing will stop us seeing each other. I miss you everyday and regret my stupid behaviour with everything that happened with Taehyung, I know you've said you forgive but it still doesn't change the fact that things could of been different between us now.
I'm sorry that this is so short my father wouldn't approve of me sending you this letter. I can't wait to see you again my dear.

I finished reading the letter from Cedric and I couldn't help but smile but miss him at the same time, just over 2 months left until we reunited.

The next few weeks flew by, more letter sent back and forth between Ron, Hermione and myself about the upcoming World Cup at the end of August. We was spending a few days with the Weasleys then heading to the match together. Hermione and Harry was joining us as well. My mum was a little worried about me going but I told her that she had nothing to worry about, I was simply leaving a few days before I would normally to leave for Hogwarts. This meant that I am heading to Diagon Alley with Regan today to get this years school supplies, it wasn't much difference only a new book that we would need for the term. I can't believe the past 3 month have flown by but I'm closer to seeing Cedric and my friends again.
