It was about two weeks into summer break. I met up with Lindsey last week for a shopping trip and I had written letters to Ron, Harry and Hermione. It was a grey overcast day so I decided to stay in my room and do some drawing. I could spend hours in my cosy room drawing and painting. It's something I love to do.

My concentration was broken by tapping on my window.  I turned to see a dusty black owl peaking the glass. I went over and opened my window, the owl had a thick envelope in its claws. As soon as I took the letter the owl flew away into the dark sky. I thought it was strange as I only just sent letters to my friends and I've never seen that owl before. I looked at the envelope and the letter R was in the top left corner. I guess it's for me, no one else's name starts with an R in my house. Sitting on the bed I opened the letter and it had two pieces of parchment inside. One was blank and the other said:
———
Hi Princess,

Sorry to send this out of the blue but I hate sending letters by owl. It takes too long and I don't want my parents knowing my business. That's why I've sent you one half of enchanted parchment. I have the other half. You can write on the parchment and once I've seen what you have written, the message will disappear and same goes if I write something.
Keep it safe!

Taehyung

I examined the blank parchment before grabbing my pencil and writing a simple "Hello?". I set the paper aside and went back to my drawing. Every once in a while I looked round to see if anything had changed but it hadn't . My words still on the paper. Maybe his enchantment didn't work?

I carried on with my day and it was now just after dinner. I went back up to my room to relax. I notice the writing on the parchment had changed.
"Sorry I was out helping my mother with the garden all day. My owl didn't bite you did he?"
Watching the letters fade away after I had finished reading. Grinning and picked up the nearest pencil. "No he didn't but I think he scratched my window a tiny bit but that's okay. Ron's owl is the worst . It flys straight into the window."
"Thats funny. I just know how foul tempered he can be that's all. I'm actually really relived this parchment worked and my father didn't notice our owl missing today." That's strange. Why would he be worried about his dad noticing the owl missing. Is he not allowed to send mail?
He continued "it's a bit hard to explain but You can come over Friday if you want?"

That was abrupt. I watched the letters fade into the paper and I sat there for a moment. I've never been round a boys house on my own before. My parents would most likely think the worst if I was to tell them. I didn't know what to write and I knew Taehyung was waiting for a reply. "I don't think my parents would let me. You're a guy after all." It didn't take long for him to reply back
"Do your parent really think you are that irresponsible? You'll be 16 this year, can't you make your own decisions." I guess he's right, before I could reply he wrote a little more "I'm not trying to make you come over if you don't want to. Just think you're smart enough to make your own choices."
"I'll come and see you, let me know what time and where. Should I bring anything?" Not sure if we'd stay at his house or go out somewhere else. I'd also have to check the weather to see if it would be raining. The weather has been a little weird these past few days.
"No not unless you have anything specific you want to eat or drink. My mother is pretty good at having a verity of thing in the kitchen." He sent over the details and I wrote them on a scrap piece of paper. It's a date. Or not. I don't know but I guess I can always just come home if I want to leave, he doesn't live ridiculously far from me.

— Friday —

The days had gone by quickly, Taehyung and I haven't messaged each other since the night he invited me to his house. I was a little nervous and the rainy weather wasn't helping my mood much. I said bye to my parents saying I should be home by ‪8:30‬, I didn't tell them I was going to Taehyung's. They probably assumed I was going to see Lindsey or the others for a day out.
