Chapter 48- The death of Sirius Black

We are so close to the end of year 5

Today was the start of our Year 5 OWLS, the exam we were taking today was the Theory of Charms and it was a two-hour long exam. Exams don't bother me too much; I'd studied for this and I was going to pass it. We were sitting there when all the sudden there was loud bangs from outside of the great hall, as soon as Umbridge had opened the doors in whooshed fireworks? There was a moment of silence when in came Fred and George on broomsticks and they started blowing up all the exam papers and setting of fireworks lighting up the great hall. Those boys are geniuses. I was enjoying the firework, I hadn't even noticed that there was a massive dragons head, it was only when I heard the pink witch scream and start running, I spotted it, it chased her all the way out of the hall before exploding and destroying all the stupid rules that hung on the wall. We followed Fred and George outside, cheering for them, the whole courtyard is going mental, I noticed that Hermione had turned around and when I looked towards where she was looking, I saw Harry on the floor, we rush over to him and when we did, he said something about Sirius. He claimed he had another vision just like the one with Mr Weasley and it was in the same place, both attacks in the same place, defiantly a sign. Harry knew he needed to go and help Sirius but that meant sneaking out of Hogwarts and into the Ministry of Magic somehow. The only place I knew we could get out undetected would be through Umbridge's floo network in her office and that exactly where Harry was headed while the rest of us found a way to keep the other distracted, however there was no way we were going to let him do this himself so Hermione, Ron, Regan and I joined him in her office and we were so close to getting out of there when she walks in. We get grabbed by on off her followers and held to make sure we didn't disappear anywhere. She had Harry sitting in a chair while the rest of us stood around watching, she leaned forward and said "you were going to see Dumbledore, wasn't you?" Harry shook his head which caused her to slap him round the face. I rolled my eyes and said "such a bitch" I'm done caring about getting into trouble, just as she was about to say something to me Professor Snape entered the room "you sent for me Headmistress?" she turned towards him "yes, it's about time he gives me answers whether he wants to or not, did you bring the Veritaserum" to which Snape replied that she had used up all his storage. She had completely lost the plot at this point as she was about to perform Crucio which is a forbidden Spell. Just as she was about to cast it Hermione yells out to Harry telling him to tell her the plan. We all looked at her really confused, she told Professor Umbridge about "Dumbledore's Secret Weapon" I didn't know he had one but it was obviously not the truth and a way to get us out of trouble. I had a feeling that when she mentioned the forest that she was planning on taking her to Grawpy, god I'd love to see that take place but unfortunately only Harry and Hermione could go. This meant that the rest of us were held captive in her office until she returned, good thing is we was let out of the holds we were in and allowed to move around but couldn't leave the office. I was stood to the side of the office away from everyone else, worried about Harry and Hermione, when I felt a hand in my hand, I turned my head towards who was standing there and I mean I should have guessed that it would be Draco, luckily enough no one else could see us holding hands. "Were you going to see Dumbledore?" I shook my head "no we weren't, Harry had a feeling that something bad was happening to Sirius Black, who is his godfather by the way, we were trying to get to the department of Mysteries, the longer we are here the more chance of things ending bad" he squeezed my hand before saying back "ok, that's fair enough just promise me that you'll be careful, please" I raised my eyebrows at him, he shook his head and laughed "I know you still plan on going and helping, I also know I won't be able to stop you, so please be careful". Me and Draco pulled away from each other before anyone could see, a few moments later Ron had some sweets in his hands which he offered round to those that are keeping us hostage, within a few minutes they had all fallen to the floor asleep.
