Chapter 6. The Philospher Stone

The Christmas period went by super quickly and soon we was back to the normal routine. School,study,homework, and the ocassional trip to the Hogsmeade for butterbeer and shopping trips. One thing that was interesting after Christmas when Harry was looking in the Restricted area of the libarary and nearly getting caught Harry came across a room that held a Mirror (the mirror of Erised) in, when he looked into that mirror he claimed he saw his parents. He came running into my room after collecting Ron, he said that we just had to see what he saw in the mirror. We wore the invisibility cloak so we wouldn't get caught by teachers or prefect roaming the halls on night duty. Once we arrived in the room he pulled us straight to the mirror asking us if we could see them, but we couldn't see what he saw, Ron saw himself being head boy,holding the quiddich cup and being quiddich captain. However all I saw when I looked into it was myself standing in the Astronomy tower glearing out over the river standing next to a silver haired tall boy. The only person I know with hair like that is Draco, why was I seeing myself next to him. I went back to bed that night but never got any sleep, I was too busy wondering why I saw him when I don't get along with him at all. This was playing on my mind everyday and everytime I saw him in class it made me sort of nervous.

Time Skip a few months >>>>>>

It was finally time to go find the Philosopher Stone before whoever it was that was trying to find it gets it and ends the world with it. All 5 of us somehow managed to fit underneath Harry's cloak as we made our way towards the 3rd floor to put fluffy to sleep to get past them. As soon as we arrived in the room we noticed that Fluffy was alreadt asleep by thr sound of a harp. We needed to somehow move his paw out of the way to get into the room he is protecting. It took all 5 of us to move to the thing not with out a slight movement from Fluffy. Regan had decided to stay on watch outside of the room for us and to let us know if anyone was coming with the help of Harrys invisibility cloak. We reached down and pulled the hatch up. "I'll go down first, don't come down until I tell you it's safe to do so, if something bad happens get yoursleves out" Harry warned us, but stopped very suddendly, "has it gone quite to you" he asked, Hermione looked around "the harp it's stopped playing" Ron shrieks touching his top that is now covered in a slimey gooey substance. We noticed the shadow above us, fluffy had woken up and was angry ready to attack. "JUMP!!!" Harry yelled and with that we all one by one jumped down the hatch with a head snapping it's way trying to reach us. Our landing wasn't as hard as I thought it would be, I looked around and noticed we was surrounded by loads of dark branch looking thinks which I believe to be Devil's Snare but I could be mistaken, Hermione will soon tell us. We had started to get comfortable the braches started moving and tangling around us so of course naturally we started moving trying to get it off us, I then rememberd that you need to be completly relexed with Devils snare. I slowly started to relax when Hermione shouted at Harry and Ron "both of you stop moving, this is devils snare, you need to be completely relaxed around it, if you don't it'll only kill you faster.", Ron shrieked "kill us faster, now I'm relaxed". Me and Hermione relexed enough to fall through the snare and to the floor below. Once on the floor we could hear yelling "Hermione, Lindsey, now we are doomed" I yelled back "just relax". " where are you guys?" Harry responsed. "Just do what we say, trust me." Hermione says. Soon after Harry falls to the floor. " he's not relaxing is he, we have to do something", Mione says. "but what can we do guys?" Harry asks. Hermione lights up signifying she has something " I remember learning something in Herbology, Devils snare, devils snare, it's deadly fun, but will sulk in th sun. That's it It hates the sunlight" I pulled out my wand and shouted LUMOS SOLEM, a bright light shot out of my wand up into the devils snare. Ron was finally released from the snare and fell to the floor. He stood and said "good thing we didn't panic right" Harry simply rolled his eyes and said "good thing Hermione listens in class" We soon heard what sounded like wing fluttering.
