"What the hell are you doing here..!!? You were supposed to be at the portal by now!!"
Zeno practically yelled straight to my face.
"Scraaaaaaaawr!!"
"Growllll... "
"Gnarrlll.."
I was still very surprised and couldn't take in what was happening around us when I noticed more than a dozen live statues of the ancient greek gods and deities standing on the cave's entrance roaring and howling like mere beasts.
"I..I.. Er.. Um.."
I tried stammering but, Zeno just grabbed me by my arm and rushed forward.
"We must hurry!! We do not have time to talk anything!"
He said gripping my palms more tighter in the sight blinding sand dust.
"Hm!" I nodded my head. But, just couldn't help but, ask.
"What happened!!? Why are those statue monsters chasing us..??"
"It seems like we have accidentally unleased something that's supposed to be hidden.. Anastasia-samma! We bumped into them while exploring into the cave..!"
Kuro explained.
"Kuro! You need not tell this to her..! Especially when I clearly mentioned a certain stranger to avoid approaching this place at all costs!"
Zeno yelled at him glaring.
My eyes narrow immediately .
Really, Zeno? Is he gonna keep holding this grudge now..?
"Hey, We never entered the cave alright! We just had to find it since we lost the brook!"
"You lost the brook!!"
Zeno was shocked to pieces when suddenly a marble human arm grabbed my shoulder.
"Grrawwr!!"
"Ahhhh!"
I screamed. But, fortunately the arm broke off just like that by a sharp arrow shot.
"Save your thanks!"
Merida said running beside me through the sand dust along with the others who were a bit far compared to her.
I was really grateful for her help. But, truth be told I was personally shocked too at the same time.
Oh my god!
Merida!! She was here!!
Then, did she over hear me talking with Zeno and Kuro so casually..!
Please let me be wrong! Please let me be wronggg..!
"Hey prince, tell us just what should we do to fight against the monsters? Do you guys have any clue?"
Zeno, Kuro and I stared at the deliberate informality of Merida's words.
"What the-..? I thought, you guys agreed to be casual with each other..?"
She reasoned. Zeno thought a bit and something suddenly seemed to have striked him.
"Right! The portal.. The portal! You must get into portal if you want to escape from this realm..Follow us.. Everyone!"
He said hurriedly immediately changing his direction.
This was when, I remembered the people we had left behind and slowed my steps.
"The people.. Zeno, there are many people out there to rescue like us. We must go there and take them with us!"
"What?! There are more of you?? Just how many entered the portal along with you people!"
