'It's here!'

'It's here!!'

After rushing on the hallways, I slammed the door behind and jumped on my bed holding a certain special letter.

It was addressed from Sir Nozen .

I finally hear something from Zeno after three whole days since we got back to our dorms from the Hunting Expedition.

I opened the envelope sealed with blue ink and smelt it.

Peppermint.

My face brightened. It's definately from Zeno-kun.

I then took out a letter pressed inside it.

'Dear Lady_In_Red,

I apologise for my hasty exit, on that day. I had certain things to take care immediately. We have become pretty popular since the school expedition..right? This might be a happy occasion. But, be wary my dear, Lady_In_Red. I suspect there are certain people who might not like me and try to hurt you on my behalf.

I apologize for dragging you into this.

But, when the time comes.. I promise, I will protect you.

I looked at it and my lips couldn't help but hide a smirk.

What is this..?

He talks as if he could actually protect me..

It's so romantic, that it is making my heart pound..

I was still thinking when some bunch of footsteps echoed through the wooden stairs that lead to my room.

In haste, I immediately put the letter under my bed and switched off the fluorescent night lamp.

Alice stalked in hurriedly and pulled the chair beside her personal desk to try attempting to write something. She has been doing this for a while now.

I quickly got up and laid on my front.

"You are back? Are you sleeping here, today too?"

I asked her in reflex wagging my legs. But, the regretted immediately.

Like expected Alice glared a reply.

"How many times should I tell you..? This is my room. Where else do you want me to go..? The attic..?"

She asked.

My eyelids twitched.

Didn't you just sleep there a while ago..?

I was so tempted to comment. But, wanting to have no grim feelings towards her I got up from the bed having perfectly hidden Zeno's letter inside the locker beside my bed.

I.. still cannot register the fact into my mind that Alice is actually willing to share the room with me nowadays..

"The hunting tournament..? It was fun right?.."

I wanted to start a conversation.

"Hmm.." Alice mussed dipping her pen into the ink pot.

"Everyone were so nice to me too!"

I said abruptly leaning towards her neck.

Alice almost had a scare. She quickly hid the papers on her desk.
