|BOOK 2|
Once upon a time in a far away land, there lived a beautiful girl called Cinderella whose life is said to be ruined by her cruel step family, her step mother and her stepsisters. Anastasia and Drizzella.
She was kind, loving, beautiful, tal...
The light soon bled in and before we knew it our feet touched on the warm muds of the Spirit Forest.
There was a huge crowd waiting for us on the edge. We also found the teachers, Lord Merlin and Lady Becca standing among them probably to save the students and people who had just left the portal before us.
When they all saw our appearance we welcome with a loud happy clamour.
Zeno and I had just stepped out of the cave when all the people we had just declared missing miraculously started appearing with us one by one. First in form of faded souls then with full fledged bodies.
"That's.. That's.."
I felt Juliet scream from the crowd.
"Rachel and Raymond..!"
She screamed at the two confused people with tears welling her eyes.
The same thing happened with every other students to.
Thus, our day ended with such an unexpected reconcilation with people we didn't expect were alive.
After getting dragged by my own classmates separately and have received tons of personal scoldings from each for scared them, I almost thought everything was over when someone suddenly screamed on the corner.
"Long Live the Second Prince who had saved us all!"
I was shocked and abruptly looked Zeno who looked back at me.
Their voice soon mixed and joined with several others.
"Long live the stepsister who accompanied him..!"
Wah..? Me too??
I blinked.
The chorus then encored.
"Long live the prince! Long live the sun of Fairytale!"
"We have all survived this horrible expedition on one piece!"
I was still looking at Zeno in shock when he smiled lightly.
As though whispering.. 'You deserve this.'
In the midst of happiness and anxiety, joy and tears I looked at him and smiled back.
"No.. You truly do."
Zeno blushed with just his ears turning red on the commotion.
But, unexpectedly everyone of the blissful emotion he had just shared with me snapped out when he hears something probably disturbing from Kuro.
His expression drifted visibly and I though he was still smiling I knew he was no longer elated or proved.
Zeno looked like something scared the hell out of him.
