Anastasia's POV:
Out in the blue when, I was still sensing the presense of two extremely strong ancient magic revolving around me, an enormous yet familiar looking beast walked before me on it's four legs.
It was huge. Over the height of thirty feet like a little building. What was the iconic thing on this furry hound was that though it looked very dangerous and scary, it had my eyes. They were round and deep green with golden flicks that they were almost humanly.
At that time, I was thankful Billy did not have a body because if I did I would have been torn from his violent clenches on my body.
"Anastasia.. What are you waiting for..? Leave.. Anastasia.. Leave.."
But, my body froze just like that..
What is this dog..? It is here again..
The familiar memory of meeting the dog on a strange dark place stirred inside me again.
"Anastasia.. Come on.. The beast is gonna kill you.. And, the ghosts are heading in closer ..."
Was what Billy responded. But, contrary to his words just like last the dog didn't move muscle and stood still on the ground simply staring at me.
Though, I know it was very uncomfortable for a beast to stay like that, as though it purposefully didn't want to scare me the hellhound behaved in the strange manner.
I looked at it deeply and tilted my head to the right. The hellhound repeated my gesture like a mirror.
"That's it! It doesn't matter if you are gonna get killed by the beast today. Because, ghosts definately will!"
Billy said flying away when suddenly out in the blue a series of ghosts plunged straight into me.
"A human!"
"She's here!"
"Smells delicious!"
"Get her!"
In reflex I quickly covered myself on the ground. At that time, when I was attempting I felt some strange magic triggering inside me naturally.
I started leaking mysterious glowing red mana. But, I was stopped abruptly when the hitherto still hellhound suddenly stood before me as big as a shield once again.
The hound barked loudly in a way that immediately frightened the other ghosts in one go. Each of it's cries acted as a powerful echo to the ghosts and they were all gone in no time screaming and yelling like flock of chicken in front of a big fat cat.
After chasing them the hound looked at me, as though it wanted me to praise it.
A tiny smirk played on my lips.
'You really are harmless huh..?"
But, it then walked way with a bitter face with a droopy aura. I had a small hunch it was gonna stare at me again.
"W-Wait..!"
I cried to it. The hound stopped abruptly as though my words were a command.
Ghost Billy who was just come out of his hideout, sobbing about how he was scared something would happen to me was shocked by the appearance of the giant dog.
"Y-You are still here!!"
He shrieked.
But, I simply walked closer to the hesitant dog and stretched out my arm.
The hound looked at me deeply. I noticed how I didn't budge when it sniffed my arm.
Then, gently the hound closed it's eyes touched my palm with it's nose.
