After the mishap, all the students were immediately evacuated to another empty lab that was specially designed for emergency cases like this, including the two of us.
We weren't exactly sent to detention, like teacher Simon called it, but, were rather punished in the most creative yet embarrassing manner that were often used on misbehaving kindergarten children.
And, so there we stood, both Merida and me in the empty corridors with our knees kissing the tiled floor and our arms stretched towards the sky.
'Ms Rottenstein. Ms Dunborch. I hope you don't dare to move a muscle.. Till the end of the day.. '
Were the last words of Teacher Simon and I still remember that they were more scarier than the whispers of a grim reaper.
My arms and knees were beginning to ache. I was starting to get exhausted. But, the more disturbing problem that the two of us equally shared was..
"Ughh... This is humiliating.. "
I gritted my teeth.
"Well, that's what happens if you mess with teacher, The Simon Spencer of Silver Lions. He might look all calm and silent on the outside with his incredibley geek glasses.. But, if we get on his nerves.. "
She dragged and stopped but, by now I could easily fill the blanks.
We would be punished in the most memorable manner.
"This is all your fault! " I glared at her. .
"W-What! This wouldn't have happened if you hadn't pressurised me to help you!? " Merida protested.
"And, You are still calling that as help?? "
"Yes. Because it is! Slithering frog. It's the attempt that counts."
"Stop defending your mishap! Stinky octopus!"
"Ha.. I can't believe I am actually stuck here with you.. The most ominous person like ever! Iracebeth's annoying companion..ah.. No.. It's rather.. henchgirl... "
I was shocked at what she has just called me.
Iracebeth's henchgirl????
"Y-You. did .not. Just. Call. Me. That! "
Her words literally made me so mad that my eyes were getting blinded in fury.
"I just did. Henchgirl! "
Merida stuck out her tounge at me and that was it. I abruptly released my arm's raised position and grabbed her shoulders.
"Arrrghhhh!! "
"Grrrrrr!! "
"Girls! Do you want me to send you to the open field in the same position!? "
Teacher Simon's voice suddenly echoed from inside.
"We are sorry, Mister Simon.. "
The two us sang in a sync without losing a single beat or off tuned.
'Dringggggggg!!'
At that moment, the bell rung behind us and soon many students started crowing the corridors. I found many of my classmates notice me and laugh and sneer as the crossed me.
I rolled my eyes.
Ha, so childish.
They just love seeing me insulted huh.. Even I am getting bored of this usual routine.
I thought slowly looking in the side and that was I noticed Merida Dunborch, surprising getting the similar reaction like me.
"Hahaha.. Look who's here? I think, I have just seen a pleasent sight I would cherish for several centuries..! "
