~Suga's POV~
The phone rang a few times before going to voicemail.
"You've reached Sawamura Daichi. Leave a message."
I called him again. After a few rings, he picked up.
"Hey Suga" "Hey, can you please do me a favor?" "Sure, what do you need?" He sounded pretty beat. "Can you come over for a little bit? I need to go to the store but my mom left and Y/N's sick so I don't want to leave her alone."
"Yea, no problem, I'll be there in about 15 minutes." He said before hanging up.
I was grabbing a hoodie from my closet when Y/N got up again. I heard the door and told Y/N I'd be back. Downstairs I saw Daichi waiting at the door. He was wearing some baggy joggers and a long sleeve shirt.
"She's upstairs," I said to him as I left.
~Daichi's POV~
I took my shoes off and made my way upstairs. Y/N was laying in bed with her arm over her eyes. I sat down on the edge of the bed and noticed she was shivering but pieces of her hair were sticking to the sweat on her forehead so I'm assuming she has a fever.
I brushed some of her hair behind her ear and she moved her arm to look at me. She was sick but was still just as pretty as ever. I saw her face scrunch up a few seconds later.
"Hey, are you ok-"
"I'm gonna vomit," She said as she shot up into a sitting position. I quickly grabbed the trashcan that was by the bed and handed it to her. I carefully moved so I was now sitting behind her, holding her hair back. When she was done she set the basket down on the floor and had tears streaming down her face.
"It's okay," I said trying to comfort her.
She climbed onto my lap, pulling herself close, wrapping her arms and legs around my waist, resting them behind my back, gently dropped her head against my chest.
I could feel her tears soaking into my shirt, but I'm used to my siblings being sick and crying so this wasn't a new concept to me. I rubbed my hand up and down her back as she leaned into me.
"Thank you for caring. And being here, sorry I'm a mess." She mumbled. "You're not a mess, you're sick. It happens." "Not to me it doesn't" She mumbled again. I was confused but didn't want to push it. "I know you're curious but I don't have the energy to explain it. You can ask Kōshi. Just make sure to tell him I said 'Plus Ultra'. He'll understand."
I didn't say anything. After a few minutes, I heard soft snores coming from her which meant she was asleep. I didn't mind how we were sitting, I was actually pretty comfortable. My eyes were starting to get heavy but opened when I heard a click.
Suga was standing in the doorway with an unreadable expression on his face but his phone was pointed towards where the two of us were sitting. I would stop him but then I'd risk waking up Y/N and I didn't want to do that.
CLICK
Another flash went off. Suga came in and sat down in a chair across from me.
"Did she drink any water?" He said quietly. I shook my head. "I see she threw up again." His expression softened even more than normal when he looked at her. I looked up at my friend and decided to ask. "Y/N told me she doesn't get sick. Does she mean she doesn't get sick, ever?" Suga nodded his head. "She said you would explain it to me. She also said something like Super Ultra? No, Plus Ultra, that's it."
Suga sighed. "Y/N and her mom don't have a great relationship. Her mom's barely ever home." He stopped for a moment and looked back at Y/N. "But when she is Y/N almost always gets hurt." Suga went on, talking about Y/N and her mom. I was frustrated. How could someone do that to their own child? Y/N is always so happy and warmhearted. I just can't see it.
