20- Charity Game

~Your POV~

I was sitting in class, tapping my foot on the floor anxiously.

"Attention staff and students, the girls' football team is now released-" I shot up from my chair and flew out of the classroom. I felt my phone buzz a few times so I pulled it out as I continued running.

"Afternoon my dear," Himari said as I walked in. "You sound like an old lady Himari" She laughed. I threw my school bag into the bottom of my locker and got changed into my black jersey and orange shorts. "You look tense Y/N. If it's about the game-" "It's not about the game. I'm sorry, it's just Tsukishima said none of the guys were coming to the games." I sighed as I brushed my hair.

"Aww babe I'm sorry." I stood up and plastered a smile on my face, "It's okay. What matters is that we play well. Besides, it's like extra practice for when we go up against Seijoh in the tournament." Himari smiled back at me. "You're absolutely right! Now get over here so I can do your hair!" She said as she smacked me with a hairbrush.

It was about 30 minutes until game time. People from all over Miyagi were here. We were on the sidelines stretching before going to do any warm-ups. I was currently doing the middle splits while Kagami sat on my back, pushing my chest flat against the ground.

"Where is she?" "I don't see her" "Maybe she's hiding from you" "Nuh-uh" "Wanna bet?" "Both of you knock it off"

"Alright, I'm good" Kagami got off my back and yanked me up. I was chatting with her about some of Sejoh's weaknesses when I heard yelling from the stands. I turned to see all the boys, Kiyoko, Mr. Takeda, and even Coach Ukai in the front row.

I ran up to the edge of the field and smiled up at them. They all had smiles on their faces. Even sour boy Tsukki. "I thought you guys weren't coming!!" "Well it was supposed to be a surprise but these two just had to ruin it," Daichi said as he looked at Hinata and Kageyama.

"Aw, it's okay. I'm glad you're all here. It means-" "WARM-UP TIME!!" Coach yelled. "Sorry boys, gotta go." I waved to them and Daichi winked at me causing me to trip over my own feet. I got back to the field and started warming up.

We weren't doing much for warm-ups. Most of the girls just kicked the ball back and forth while I kicked the ball at Himari who tried to keep it out of the goal. "CAPTAINS" The ref yelled. Kagami and I jogged out to the center of the field and joined Sejoh's captain and vice-captain.

"Karasuno's call. In the air." He tossed the coin and I called it. "Heads" "It's heads, Karasuno starts with the ball." Kagami and I bowed and thanked Seijoh for the team before running back to the bench.

"Bring it in!" I shouted at the girls. We all huddled up and took a deep breath. "Alright girls, I know we're going to take this seriously. But remember, this game has no effect on our ranking. We're still third and we'll still be third when this is over. Don't forget to save some of your energy for the volleyball game too. Now let's get out there and show off."

We hyped each other up and ran towards the field.

~Third Person POV~

"Look! There they go!!" Hinata shouted as he ran to the edge of the railing. None of the boys bothered to say anything seeing as they were too focused on the girls on the field.

*TWEET*

Nori immediately took off with the ball, getting past almost all of Seijoh's defenders. Seijoh's number 2 managed to take it away from Nori and rushed towards the center of the field. She managed to make it through the center circle but didn't see Y/N approaching from her side.

Y/N swiped the ball out from under number 2 and sprinted past Seijoh's center midfielder and defensive midfielder. She passed it to Mariko who dribbled and passed it to Saki who ran straight toward the goal box.

"SHE'S GOING FOR THE SHOT.....AND SAKI PROVIDES THE FINISH! IT'S A GOAL!!"

Leaving all of Seijoh and the crowd baffled.

"How are they so fast?" "WHOA, SHE WENT ZOOM AND WHOOSH!" "I almost didn't see her" "That goal was amazing"

"L/N ONE ON ONE WITH AKAHANA! AND ANOTHER TURN OVER FROM KARASUNO!!"

Y/N got the ball back and looked for an opening to pass it to one of her teammates but there was no one around. Akahana [Seijoh's number 5] shoved Y/N in an attempt to get the ball back, but Y/N got past her yet again. With no winger or striker open, she took the shot from the center of the field.

"AND L/N F/N TAKES THE SHOT- AND IT'S GOOD! I DON'T BELIEVE IT!"

The crowd cheered with excitement. "THAT WAS AMAZING" Tanaka and Noya shouted as they watched Y/N celebrate with her teammates. "SHE'S SUCH A GODDESS" The rest of the Karasuno volleyball team laughed at their two teammates who were being excessive, as usual.

Y/N lifted her jersey to wipe the sweat from her head. As she did, half the boys in the stands got a nose bleed.

"Y/N-SENPAI IS SO COOL" Hinata cried. The team focused back on the field when they heard someone speak up from behind them. "Have you seen how hot that Number 1 from Karasuno is?" "You mean L/N F/N?" "She's so pretty. I bet she'd look even better on her knees." "Dude" "She'd take it better than half the girls here. God, I wanna make her mine. She'd look so good underneath me."

The entire volleyball team heard these comments and it lit a fire inside them. Y/N was a really sweet girl who loved everyone. She was overall just a good person, so hearing these things be said about her made the team sick. They were about to say something when Daichi stopped them. He simply shook his head.

"AND MARIKO HAS IT WITH TWENTY SECONDS ON THE CLOCK-GOALLLLL!!!!" "KARASUNO HAS WON THE GAME 3-1"

The boys cheered as they watched the girls run off the field. Y/N had a huge smile on her face. Now there was a half-hour break before the volleyball game started. Now it's time to show off.
