34- Party hard...but not too hard

All the girls showed up at my place about 2 hours after our game. Of course, Saki and Hanako had a kind of grunge or e-girl aesthetic. Kagami and Cho had a dark academia aesthetic. 

Himari, Mika, and Nori had a softcore look. Ayame had an indie look, while Kira, Mariko, and I were just basic. As in tank tops or crop tops, ripped jeans, and sneakers.

I was in a black tube top with light grey jeans and white sneakers, simply because I was not trying to impress anyone there tonight. I just wanted to have fun.

We all split up and got into the cars. But you already know Kagami, Himari, Ayame, and Nori were in mine while Cho was driving Kira, Mariko, Mika, Saki, and Hanako.

"What shall we listen to tonight captain?" "I would say you pick but that's dangerous, so let Nori pick" Kagami huffed and threw her phone into the backseat and onto Nori's lap. 

For her soft look and sweet personality, absolutely none of us were expecting her to play Horns by Bryce Fox. I almost slammed on the brakes when I heard it blast through the speakers. 

"OH, OH, SHE'S GOT THE FIRE IN THE SIN AND I BURN BREATHIN' HER IN"

"NOW IT'S LOVE SUICIDE" 

"I'D SELL MY SOUL FOR THE HIGH"

"TRUTH BE TOLD I DON'T MIND, 'CAUSE HER HELL'S MY PARADISE"

Yep, wasn't expecting Himari and Ayame to be into this either. But I just rolled with it. Until they played it on repeat 5 times. It was still playing when I pulled up to Oikawa's house.

"You're making the rest of us look emo like you," Kagami said as she got out of the car. I looked her up and down before raising my eyebrow. "Pot meet kettle," I said as I locked the car.

The rest of the girls joined us and we all walked inside. It was already packed but everyone turned to look at us.

 "AHHH OUR SPECIAL GUESTS ARE HERE!!" Oikawa jumped off a table and ran straight at us. He looked me dead in the face when he got close enough, "Y/n I NEED you to beat Shiratorizawa" I shrugged and patted his shoulder as I walked away. "We will" 

Everyone split up a little differently. Mika went off with Hanako, Saki, Kira, and Mariko went downstairs. Cho, Ayame, and Nori went to the kitchen, while Himari, Kagami, and I went outside. 

I spotted Iwaizumi and Hanamaki by the beer pong table. "Hey, you two!" "Y/N!" "Are you here to take over for Makki? Because he sucks" I laughed at Iwaizumi's comment. "No no, I'm driving tonight" 

Iwaizumi nodded and walked over to one of the coolers that was by the pool. "Catch" My hands moved and caught the can before I thought about it. "Thanks" I cracked open that [soda] and took a sip. 

After about 2 hours I went inside to find Himari. 'The hell did she go? This house is too big' I groaned as I practically threw myself down the stairs. Downstairs in the living room, it looked like everyone was playing charades. 

Himari pointed at Oikawa and people started listing off SEVERAL truthful things. 

"EGOTISTICAL"

Himari shook her head and the dud who guessed had to take a shot. 

"SELF-ABSORBED"

She shook her head and another person took a drink. I followed carefully to see how the game worked. 

"PLAYBOY"

"INSECURE" Himari shook her head while Oikawa gasped dramatically. 

"It's a door," I said flatly.

"FINALLY SOMEONE GOT IT!" I yelled excitedly while Oikawa gasped again as he got up from the couch and dragged me over to sit next to him. 

"How dare you!" "Mmm but I was correct, was I not?" "And I invited you into my home" "I would've come anyway" Himari butted her already drunk self into the conversation. "SHE'S BOOSTING YOUR STATUS BY BEING HERE" 

I heard Like A G6 playing upstairs and I jumped up from the couch, making Oikawa fall over, and I sprinted up the steps.

"LIKE A G6 NOW-N-N-N-NOW I'M FEELING SO FLY LIKE A G6" Cho barreled into my side singing loudly just like I was. 

After the song was over she dragged me back outside. "PLAY FLIP CUP WITH ME!!!" "Girl you can't drive now. I have to get us home S O B E R" "Nuh-uh" She hiccuped. "You can call Sugawara or Daichi" 

I pondered the idea for a moment before agreeing. "You win, but you're not gonna win this"  She put out 6 cups and poured some beer into them. "WE NEED PARTNERS" I laughed as she ran off to go grab someone. 

Kagami was already outside so I grabbed her arm and dragged her over to the table. Cho came back with Mika and got ready. 

Hanamaki and Matsukawa came over to judge, even though we didn't ask them to. "READY...SET...GO" 

I immediately started chugging. The alcohol burned the back of my throat but I ignored it and finished the cup. I set it back down on the table, flipping it, and landing it perfectly. I did that for the other 5 cups, ultimately winning.

"NOT FAIR" "You're just slow" I shrugged. "Ok Kags and Mika it's your turn" The girls got ready and didn't think before chugging the alcohol. I could see some of it pour down their faces as they tried to drink it faster. 

"ONE MORE KAGS" She chugged it and made a grossed-out face before putting it down on the table to flip it. She groaned when it didn't land properly.

 "IF YOU LOSE THIS FOR US I SWEAR TO-" She cut me off by tackling me into a hug. I looked back and saw she had landed it before Mika did. "AHAHA SUCK ON THAT!" 

"Fine. Let's shotgun and see who's better" I put my hand up and Makki threw me a beer. Mattsun threw one to Cho and Kagami. 

"READY...KEY" We punctured the cans and cracked open the tab as we chugged. I of course finished first. Kagami finished and came in second but she stumbled back, falling into me, and we both fell backward. 

"NOT THE POO-" Too late. We were already under the water. When I surfaced, Kagami was already out while I tried to inhale. I was also flailing my arms excessively. "Y/n you good?" My head kept going under. 

"I-" "CAN'T" "SWIM-" I was struggling just to keep myself afloat. It's a shock I know. The number one player in Japan and I can't swim. Shove off. 

I felt water splash my face and somebody lifted me up, pulling me towards the side of the pool. They lifted me onto the edge and I crawled away from the pool, gasping for air. 

"I ALMOST KILLED YOU" Kagami yelled in my face as she helped me up. I looked over at Iwaizumi who was soaking wet, just like Kagami and I. 

"Good sir-I owe you my life" He laughed as he wrung out his shirt. "How about a beer?" "DONE" When I walked inside everyone looked at me but I just laughed. 

Could I have died? Yes. Did I? No. See, all good.
