21- Charity Game Part 2

~Third Person POV~

The team walked off the field and split up. The boys immediately saw Y/N walking towards the gym and bolted towards her. 

"Y/N-SENPAIIII" Hinata yelled causing her to turn around. When she saw the term she brightened up and ran towards them. "HI!!" She yelled back. Hinata stared at Y/N like he wanted to ask her something and she could tell. 

"Are you gonna spit it out or are we gonna stand here awkwardly?" She laughed. "HOW ARE YOU SO FAST- YOU WERE LIKE ZIP AND WHOOSH AND ZOOM IT WAS AWESOME!!" "We trained really hard. You guys are always welcome to come and watch, maybe even join. But I'm not sure any of you could handle it." She stifled a laugh as the boys looked at her. "Is that a challenge?" Tanaka asked as he crossed his arms over his chest. 

The girl shrugged. "Dunno. Is it?" Now she had a smirk on her face. "Anyway thank you guys for coming to the game. Are you staying for the volleyball game too?" "Yea we're all gonna be there. In the front row." Suga replied. 

"Good. Wait until you see the lineup." She said as she winked. The group continued talking until they went quiet. "Um are you guys good or?" Noya pushed Daichi towards Y/N, who managed to catch him. "Noya what the-" She was cut off when Daichi kissed her. 

It was a sweet kiss. Their lips melted into each other as the two relaxed. When they pulled apart everyone was quiet again. "L/N F/N!" The girl whipped around to see her whole team staring at her. "YOU'VE BEEN HOLDING OUT ON US?! AND YOU'RE CHEATING ON ME?!" Himari fake fainted into Nori's arms as she put the back of her hand to her forehead dramatically. 

"I'm sorry!! You'll always be my number one wife!!" Himari got up and walked over to Y/N, grabbing her hand and dragging her towards the bathrooms. "Sorry boys, we have a game to go win. You'll get her back later." She yelled back at them.

The girls got changed into regular athletic shorts and put on kneepads and their court shoes. "Hey Himariiiiiii" Y/N sang. "No no why'd you say it like that" "You knowwww" Y/N wiggled her eyebrows. "Nishinoya plays liberoooo and he'll be in the front rowwww" Himari turned a bright shade of red as she playfully shoved Y/N. "StOp I'm already nervous enoughhhh!!!"

The girls left the bathroom and walked into the gym, which was packed. The banner Y/N had made hung off the railing upstairs. The girls stretched and Y/N went to the ref for the coin toss. Seijoh had service first which was disappointing. 

The girls walked onto the court and got into position. What the crowd didn't know was that most of the girls had played volleyball at one point in time. 

"I see someone takes after her boyfriend," Suga said as he pointed to Y/N. In the front row, Mika was playing ace, Kagami was a middle blocker, Ayame was setting. In the back row, Y/N was playing outside hitter, Himari was libero, and Cho was playing right side.

*TWEET*

Seijoh served to Himari who received and sent it to the setter position perfectly. Ayame set Mika who slammed the ball onto the other side of the court, giving Karasuno the first point. 

Hoots and hollers echoed off the gymnasium walls. It was now Ayame's serve. 

"Chance ball" Himari yelled as she got underneath it. Ayame set it to Cho who swung, but the Seijoh's blockers got a hand on it. They sent it back over the net and sent it flying to an area where no one was covering. Himari ran and dove, sticking one arm out, just barely getting a touch on it. The ball was sent flying to the middle of the court where Ayame set Y/N.  The blockers didn't get up in time and the ball flew to the back right corner, lading in bounds.

"WHAT A SWING!"

"I DIDN'T KNOW THEY COULD ACTUALLY PLAY!" 

"Well Y/N's practiced with me all her life so that isn't a surprise but I didn't expect her to play outside hitter," Suga said to which Daichi smiled. "THAT LIBERO IS AMAZING!" Noya added. "That's Yua Himari, she's a second year. Also Y/N's best friend." Noya was too busy paying attention to the girl that caught his eye. 

"Their setter is also pretty impressive," "Yep, Dai Ayame, first year. Y/N says she's got lots of natural talent." 

"Ok, but can we talk about Y/N." Coach Ukai said, catching all the boys by surprise.  "I mean look at her out there." He added. The boys looked at Y/N as she blocked a killer hit from Seijoh. "She's got a lot of talent." "Just wait until you see her serves" 

After a few rotations, Y/N was up to serve. She tossed the ball from one hand to another a few times before tossing it up. The slap of the ball echoed through the silent gym. The ball flew over the net.

"IT'S OUT" One of the Seijoh players yelled. Unfortunately for them, the ball dropped just behind their libero, landing inside the court. The gym remained silent.

"Did she just-" "How did she-" "SHE CAN FLOAT SERVE?!" Hinata yelled at the top of his lungs. The boy's team cheered loudly and the rest of the gym soon joined in. Y/N had service again but instead of a float serve she stepped back from the line and tossed the ball in the air. She jumped with perfect timing and slammed her hand onto the ball, sending it flying over the net, earning them another service ace.

"SHE CAN JUMP SERVE TOO?!" "SHE'S AMAZINGGGG!!!" "MY QUEEN!!!" 

The first match ended 25-12 in favor of Karasuno. Now we're at the end of the second match.

"AYAME HERE" Cho yelled as she jumped for the set. Another point for Karasuno. And another. And another. It was game point for Karasuno. Seijoh was serving. The ball flew over the next, hitting the side of Kagami's hand, sending it flying out of bounds. 

"ONE TOUCH" 

"I'M ON IT" Himari yelled as she followed the ball. "YOU'RE TOO CLOSE TO THE BENCH" Saki yelled from the sidelines. All the girls got out of Himari's way as she ran at them. Himari jumped onto the bench and got her hands on the ball, passing it back towards the court before falling over the back of the bench. 

She jumped up and sprinted back onto the court. "COVER" Ayame yelled as she couldn't get under the ball in time. Y/N ran and got in perfect set position, touching the ball she sent it to Ayame who dumped it over the net. The crowd was going wild. Seijoh got it back up and sent it back over the net. The ball was headed towards the left side line.

"IT'S OUT" Mika yelled. "NO IT'S NOT," Y/N shouted as she ran towards the line. She got underneath the ball and passed it to Ayame who set Y/N. No one expected this kind of play. She was almost like Hinata, running all around the court. 

Y/N hit the ball as hard as she could. It soared over the net and onto Seijoh's side. Their libero tried to receive it but it hit her arm and dropped to the floor. The gym exploded into cheers as Karasuno won. 

The girls thanked Seijoh for the game and everyone filed out.
