29- Date Prep

~Your POV~

I woke up and stretched my arms before grabbing my phone. "11:30 BITCH WHAT" I yelled as I jumped up from my bed. Unfortunately for me, I just so happen to face plant on the floor. I groaned as I got up and picked up my phone to call Himari. It rang a few times before she finally picked up. 

"Hey Y-"

"HIMARI I HAVE AN EMERGENCY"

"OH MY GOD ARE YOU DYING?! NOOOO" She cried into the phone. 

"Ms. Ma'am- WHAT" 

"WHAT'S THE EMERGENCY!?!" 

"I HAVE A DATE WITH CAP TONIGHT AND I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO!! HELP ME PLEASE!!" I begged as I threw clothes across my room while rummaging through my dresser and closet. 

"I'll be there in 10! Don't panic!"

"IT'S TOO LATE FOR THAT!"

After a decent 10 minutes of panicking there was a knock on the door. I jumped up from my floor, ran downstairs, threw the door open, and dragged Himari inside.  "So how bad is it?" I looked like I was about to cry. I reluctantly dragged her upstairs to my now disaster of a room. "So you didn't like anything you have?" I shook my head. "No, I only have sports stuff and a few cutesy things, but he said it was gonna be a nice dinner."

"Ok, relax. What time does his practice get out?" "6" "Perfect. We can fix this. Let's just go to the mall." I smiled at her idea and grabbed my keys. When we got to the mall Himari dragged me around for at least two hours but I still didn't find anything. At this point, I was really discouraged. 

"Oh, Y/N?" My head popped up to see Oikawa and Iwaizumi. "Hey" I mumbled. "You okay? You like you're gonna cr-" "SHUT UP," Iwaizumi said as he smacked Oikawa's head. "Yea" Himari put her hand on my shoulder. 

"She has a date tonight and can't find something to wear." "EH? FEAR NOT Y/N I'M EXCELLENT AT THIS KIND OF THING" He said as he grabbed my wrist and dragged me away. Himari giggled and Iwaizumi rolled his eyes.

We went to a couple of shops but I still didn't see anything. "Hold on, is this like fancy or casual?" "I don't know that's the problem. He said we're going to dinner." "AHA! So we'll find something in between. It'll be fine." He said as he pulled me into another store. 

"Hey wait this is kinda cute!" He said as he held up a white sweater style bodysuit. My eyes actually kind of lit up for once. "Yea, it kind of is. The only problem is what bottoms would I wear?" His eyes scanned the store and he pulled me towards the skirt section. 

I watched him skim through the rack. "Ugly, so last season, definitely not, no, no, YES" He held up a black pencil skirt. "Again with the plaid? I thought you were taking this seriously." He gasped. 

"I AM. And there is never anything wrong with plaid. Now go try it on." He said as he shooed me to the dressing rooms. I sighed as I got undressed. I slipped on the top which accentuated my curves and then I slipped on the skirt which did the same. It even had a slit on the side. 

"Oikawa, come look please" He popped in not even a few seconds later. "My my you like very nice." "You think?" He hummed. "Yup," He said as he popped the p. "Just a little jewelry and some shoes and you'll be good to go. 

We went to the register and I paid for the two items. After we left he dragged me to the shoe store next. It was easier to shop now since I had an outfit to match them to. Oikawa ended up picking out some black, leather sandals with an ankle strap. At the jewelry store, I picked out a few rings and a layered gold necklace. 

"Hey, um-thank you," I said as I looked down at all 3 of my bags. "You're very welcome. Have fun tonight. I'm glad everything worked out well." The two of us waited for Himari and Iwaizumi in the cafe. After those two arrived we said goodbye and left. 

~Third Person POV~

"Ok we only have 3 hours so let's not waste any time," Himari said as she started the shower. Once Y/N was done showering she painted her nails as she waited for her hair to dry. Himari ended up straightening the girl's hair while Y/N started on her makeup. Nothing too major, just some concealer, blush, mascara, and lip gloss. She also filled in her eyebrows just a little. 

Following that, Y/N put on her outfit, jewelry, and shoes. "Oh...my...GOD!" Himari yelled as she jumped up from Y/N's couch. "Do I look okay?" "GIRL YOU LOOK BETTER THAN OKAY! YOU'RE GORGEOUS!" Y/N blushed from the compliment. 

"Ok well I'm leaving now, you're welcome to stay if you'd like." "Already planned on it. Have fun lovebirds" Himari said as she turned on Y/N's tv. 

In the gym, practice had just wrapped up and Daichi sprinted to the locker rooms to shower and change. After his shower, he put on some grey fitted slacks and a white button-up, along with some white sneakers, and left the locker room. 

"WHOA LOOK AT THE CAPTAIN"

"Fancyyyyy"

"Someone's got a date" 

All the boys teased him but he didn't mind. "Hey, didn't you have flowers with you earlier?" Suga asked his friend. Daichi realized he left them in the locker room and ran back to get them. As he left Y/N showed up. Stepping into the gym all the boys went silent as their mouths hung open. They've never really seen her dressed up before.

"Y/N-SENPAI YOU LOOK SO PRETTY," Hinata said as he ran up to the girl. "Aww, thanks sunshine!" Kiyoko and Yachi talked with Y/N as she waited for her boyfriend. "You look really pretty," Yachi said to the girl. "Thank you"
