This book is about a young girl who is facing a lot from her family, her father precisely.
He's a headache to all of them, Her mother is a superwoman, and she wants to be happy she tries to make her husband a good one.
But it was too hard for her, he neither provided them with food nor clothing. He's nothing to them but a wicked man.
Her family and his are far far away from them. Both of them have no idea where their relatives are.
But indeed after all the the hardship, there's ease, they later meet with their relatives after living a hard life.
But he didn't change a bit, he's still the person he is. Her cousin also fell in love with her when she had no time for LOVE.
Would she accept her cousin who helped them and found them? Or would she let him down?
Khadijah is a beautiful young lady, brilliant and obedient. Patience is her motto. Her father is a man of greed, he knows no one but himself. Food and clothing were never a thing he provided to his family. He married many wives and had children with them. But Khadijah's mother, "Maimuna" is his first wife. He had more children with her than the other wives. Maimuna is a good definition of a WOMAN. What I mean by a WOMAN is that she has all the good qualities. She is patient, she taught her children to be respectful, and never let them go astray. She don't know where her family has been since the fighting in Maiduguri started. But when life changes. She met with her cousin.
Khadijah's life turned into a better one, her dream started to come true. And at the same time, her cousin falls in love with her when she has no time for LOVE.
