We all turned to look at them, do they know each other? Are they related? Ya rabbi I hope so.

"Aisha," Abbi called his wife.

"What happen? Do you know each other?" He asked.

"She's... my... Cou..sin." Said hajiya still in shock.

"Cousin?"Did you say your cousin?" Abbi asked her to confirm.

"Yes... She's my cousin, maimuna." She said.

Umma just burst out in tears, Tears of joy.

Umma quickly stood up and ran to her cousin and hugged her. Ummi was crying too, they stayed for a long before they let each other.

"Come and sit down, both of you," Abbi ordered. And they did as they were told.

They sat on the mat holding each other's hands.

"Tell us, what happened that you guys went apart, how?" Alhaji Nasir asked.

About 19-20 years ago... Ummi started.
We are very close with maimuna, we were best friends. I lost my mother when I was 2 years old, my father was a pilot so he didn't stay with us always, I grew up with maimuna and her family, her mother, and her father. She's the only child of her parent. Her mother and my mother are sisters, the same father the same mother. We share everything we got we grew up like twins, tho I'm one year older than her but that doesn't matter. We attended the same University and the same course. After our NYSC the crisis of Maiduguri started, everyone was running for his life, and that is how we lost each other. I missed her every single minute, she's always in my heart, I've prayed to Allah to reunite us again.
After we lost each other I found myself in Kaduna state, I don't know how, I worked as a maid in one house and I was treated badly by the housewife. That made the husband marry me off to one of his friend's sons, who happens to be Yusuf's wife. He's kind to me, he never in his life treated me badly, and we are all happy with each other. One day, on his way back to the, he was armed robbed, and killed. That's how I started my single-wife life but Yusuf's grandfather helped me, he gave me the capital to start a business. After about two years in my business, I met Alhaji Nasir, I took him to the man I worked in his house and informed him. And that's how we got married.
Hajia Aisha narrated.

Maryam, Rabi, Ralee, Khadijah, Khalifa, and Yusuf shed tears, Yusuf the most. He cried because of his father, and his mother. His mother went through a lot. May his gentle soul rest in peace... Amin.

Maimuna held her sister's hand tightly not letting it go. She cried in her shoulder.

"I'm sorry you went through all this alone," Maimuna said to her sister.

"It's all good now, we are now back, I missed you," said Hajjiya Aisha and burst out in tears.

"Yes insha Allah and we will never be apart again."

Alhaji Nasir was just there, thinking that his wife went through all this, he knew she got married before him, but he didn't know she worked as a maid to survive. He's proud of the woman she has become.

"Maimuna, but what made you marry that wicked man.?" Hajiya Aisha asked her sister.

"It's a long story but I'll cut it short."
