The next day, as Alhaji Nasir promised Yusuf, Maryam, and The driver arrived at Khadijah's house around 9:00 a.m. Maryam insisted that she would go with them. There was a car which came with them too. The other car was filled with foodstuffs and other things.
"Assalamu alikum". Maryam said while entering the house.
"Wa Alaikum salam". Khadijah answered.
"Maryam," Khadijah said while hugging her.
"Na'am khady, How're you doing?" Maryam asked.
"I'm doing well, Alhamdulilah" she answered. What about you?
I'm fine too, Alhamdulilah, how's Umma and Khalifa, Maryam asked.
They're all good.
Umma came out of the room and exchanged pleasantries, Yusuf also came in and sat down on the chair.
He's looking handsome as always, omg, I just met him yesterday what was he always all about? Khady thought.
"Good morning ya Yusuf," Khadijah greeted.
"Morning Khadijah, how're you?"He asked.
"Fine, Alhamdulilah," she answered.
"Masha Allah, how's Khalifa with his body." He asked.
"He's feeling better Alhamdulilah," she answered
Masha Allah.
"Umma I hope you have packed," Yusuf asked.
"Yes," umma simply answered.
"Then let's go."
Umma took her hijab, and Yusuf and the driver carried Khalifa and put him in the back seat of the car.
The children were in the school so they all left the house and locked it.
They arrived at Aminu Kano Hospital, Abbi had already talked to a doctor who happened to be his friend, he'd take care of Khalifa until he was okay.
They're already admitted and started the medications. The room contains two beds, an Air conditioner, a TV, and also a fridge. It's a private room.
The doctor called Yusuf and Umma to his office to inform them about Khalifa's health status.
"We gave him some medicines now after two days the surgery will take place insha Allah. Just make sure he took the medicines because that will help him to subside the pain after the surgery as we are going to give him a strong sleeping injection before the surgery."
" Insha Allah we'll try our best," Umma said.
"Allahu Yasha." The doctor answered. "If you need anything you can call any nurse as you might not find me anytime," he added.
"Okay. Thank you." Umma said.
Maryam and Khadijah had grown a tight relationship between each other, they just met yesterday but they're close, like they have known each other for a long.
