THE BELIEVER WILL NOT ATTAIN COMFORT UNTIL HE MEETS ALLAH.
Around 7:00 pm, I took my bath and dressed in a peach and maroon lace, I looked beautiful indeed.
I was eating my breakfast fast sharply and Maryam blessed us with her presence.
"Assalamu alaikum," Maryam's salamed.
"Wa Alaikum salam", I answered.
"Don't tell me you're just eating now, the driver is outside waiting for us. Just package it, you can do it in the car! Please." Maryam insisted I must let the food.
"Fine, don't eat me up! Let me get my things then." I said in surrender.
"You better, before I hunt you down". She replied.
"Try it!" I shouted from my room.
Just then, I saw her inside my room with her hand akimbo.
"Repeat what you said" madam. She demanded.
"I said nothing, baby, please," I said almost laughing. I know what she can do.
"You're safe. I could have done it." She said.
I rapped my maroon veil, and shoes and took my purse, or rather Maryam calls it fashion bag. I took my phone, and charger not forgetting my AirPods.
We went outside where everyone was.
"Abbi Ina kwana--Good morning Abbi." I greeted Abbi.
"Lafiya Lau Khadijah, kun Shriya --Fine Khadijah, You're ready right?" Abbi asked.
"Yes Abbi, we are," I answered.
"Okay, Be yourselves okay? I'm wishing you a safe trip, my regards to them." Abbi said to both of us.
"Insha Allah Abbi, Ameen ya rabbi. Thank you." We answered in unison.
"Ummaaa, I'll miss you". I said to my mother.
"I'll miss you too, you're coming back later in the evening right?" She asked to be sure.
"Yes umma", I chuckled.
I hugged her for one more and went straight to the car.
We both settled in the back seat. And the driver roars the car to life.
"Goodbye, since both of you forgot about me," Yusuf said from nowhere.
"Oh Yaya, I didn't forget about you, thought you went out". Maryam said.
"Sorry ya Yusuf, I thought so too," I said because I didn't have anything to defend myself. I didn't forget about him. Just didn't want to ask Maryam about and she would tease me throughout the ride.
"I know, how would I go out after my two sisters are leaving home." He said.
"Yes, we're coming back today fah, don't miss us too much, especially her." She lowered her voice.
