THE BEAUTY OF NATURE IS A REMINDER THAT LIFE'S MOST PRECIOUS MOMENTS ARE OFTEN THE SIMPLEST
"Close her face and take her to the car, quickly," Sadeeq said to one of his bodyguards immediately after he entered the room where khadijah was kept.
"Yes boss," the bodyguard answered.
Her face was covered and she was picked up by the guard as she was trying to be stubborn.
She experienced an overwhelming mix of emotions as she faced the terrifying reality of being taken away. Fear, initially, is a dominant feeling.
She was more scared now that she didn't know where she would be taken, as she overheard the bodyguards saying that the boss was planning to go out of the country with her,
As the perpetrators forcibly separated her from her familiar surroundings and loved ones, intense anxiety gripped her more, making it difficult for her to breathe or think clearly. She felt utterly powerless, trapped in a nightmare.
Indeed she loses hope of being free again.
Where is my husband? Why is it taking him so long? She couldn't think straight.
"We are heading to my father's private jet," Sadeeq spoke before they moved out of the warehouse where she was kept.
She cried loudly and tried hard to be free but to no avail
She became more confused and fear accompanied her, she struggled to comprehend the surreal and perilous situation. She questioned why this was happening to her, desperately seeking any means of escape or rescue. Her confusion turns into despair as she realizes the immediate danger she is in.
A glimmer of hope now flickered as she heard distant sirens approaching.
Outside, Detective Ridwan, her frantic husband, Yusuf, Yahya, and other policemen prepared for the risky operation. Ridwan peered at the warehouse through binoculars, his eyes narrowing with determination. He knew that timing was crucial. Yusuf clutched his cell phone, waiting for the signal from Detective Ridwan. His hands were clammy, his heart racing.
He had never felt such a potent mix of fear and resolve. His love for khadijah was unwavering.
Inside the warehouse, Khadijah's heart pounded like a drum as the bodyguard dumped her recklessly. She whimpered in pain. Ridwan signaled to the police team, and they moved in with precision, surrounding the warehouse.
The tension was palpable as they prepared to breach the heavy doors. With a resounding crash, the doors burst open, filling the cavernous space with blinding light. Khadijah shielded her eyes, startled by the sudden chaos that erupted around her. Shouts reverberated through the air. Yusuf, at Ridwan's side, rushed in, his heart in his throat. He spotted his wife, disheveled and terrified, and surged forward. They locked eyes, their connection unbroken even in the chaos.
As the police team engaged Sadeeq's bod, Yusuf and Yahya reached Khadijah. Without a word, Yusuf pulled her into a fierce embrace, tears streaming down her face. She clung to him, her sobs of relief muffled against his chest.
Ridwan and the policemen scanned the room for threats. His trained instincts led him to a corner where a masked assailant had taken cover. With precision, he disarmed and subdued the criminals, Sadeeq and his bodyguards. securing the immediate area.
The warehouse slowly descended into silence, save for Khadijah's trembling breaths and Yusuf's comforting words. Ridwan approached them, his face etched with a mixture of exhaustion and satisfaction.
"Are you alright, Khadijah?" James asked gently. She nodded, her voice trembling.
"Thank you, Detective. Thank you all," She spoke.
Yusuf's grip on her tightened as he replied, "We'll get you out of here."
Yusuf made sure to give Sadeeq some punches before they moved out of the warehouse.
As they left the warehouse, Khadijah clung to Yusuf's hand, leaning on him for support. Yahya watched them, a silent witness to their love and resilience. It was a moment of triumph, he felt happy for the two as he smiled and opened the door to the car for them to get in.
Sadeeq and his bodyguards were taken to the police station by the Ridwan and the police team. While Yusuf, Yahya, and Khadijah headed home.

"Assalamualaikum," Yusuf said while entering the sitting room where everyone was sitting, waiting for good news.
"Wa Alaikum salam," a Few of them answered as they all stood up immediately after they saw Khadijah.
"Khadijah..." Maryam was the first person to call and she ran fast to hug her.
They all froze as they were in shock and relief.
Maryam gave her a bone-crushing hug which they almost fell.
"Hey, be careful Maryam, don't break my wife," Yusuf scolded gently.
"Yaya... I missed her so much," Maryam whined as she was crying.
They broke the hug. And Khadijah ran to her mother hugging her.
"Umma..." Khadijah called in a whiny voice as she was crying.
They stayed for some minutes, and she decided to go to Ummi too.
She hugged Ummi so tight as Ummi did the same.
Asma'u was praying in the other room, as he finished praying she rushed to the sitting room to see what was happening.
As she saw her best friend, tears started to cascade down her face and she ran to hug her.
They all cried, cry of joy and they Thanked Allah for bringing her back home safely.
Abbi also came back home when Ummi told him that Khadijah was found.
Khadijah went to her room, took a long bath, prayed, and thanked her Creator for bringing her back to her family.
She came out to eat food at the dining table where everyone was sitting, her siblings were so happy too as they missed their sister.
They ate as Khadijah was telling them everything that happened.
"We were worried about you, especially your husband, he couldn't eat or drink anything, Indeed it was a very hard time for us," Ummi said.
Khadijah held her husband's hand as they were sitting next to each other.
He smiled at her and said, "I can finish the whole food in the house now that she's here with us,".
We all laughed at what he said and he laughed too.
They continued eating and chitchatting. A radiant aura enveloped the family. Yusuf, once burdened by despair, now couldn't contain his joy. His wife's safe return was a beacon of hope. With each bite, their laughter echoed like music, filling the room with an infectious delight. Their eyes met, reaffirming their love's resilience. The dining table, once a reminder of emptiness, was now a sacred place of reunion. In this moment, they savored not just the meal but the precious gift of togetherness, celebrating their unbreakable bonds and the triumphant return of their missing piece.
"Oh Allah, Thank you," khadijah said in her mind.
