In the name of Allah, the most beneficent the most merciful.

WE ARE BLESSED BY ALLAH IN SO MANY WAYS, ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT AND BE GRATEFUL

It's an update
So let's dive in... 😉😌

"Maimuna," Abba shouted my mother's name.

"Yes," my mother answered, and she hurriedly moved her legs to Abba's room.

"Tell the children to pack their clothes from the other room, I'm bringing my wife, and she will stay in the room." He said.

She wasn't shocked at the news because it wasn't the first time he's done that. She just nodded her head and left the room.

She came back to her room where I was making my sister's hair, Fatima Zara.

"Khadijah," Umma called

"Yes," I answered.

"Go and pack all the things in that room and bring them here," she said.

"Umma all?" I asked.

"Yes, everything I said," Umma answered.

I went straight to the room to pack the things with the help of my brother, Khalifa.

There were only our trolleys, a mat that occupied the small room, then the three bedsheets, one for spraying on the mat, and the two we use to cover ourselves.

We packed it in Umma's room.

"Umma why are we packing our things, are we moving to a new house?" Khalifah said with a smile plastered on his face.

Umma just smiled, "If you are back from school (islamia) I'll tell you, Insha Allah." She said.

He nodded and dressed in his uniform.

"Umma we are set," he knelt at Umma's height because she was sitting down and he kissed her.

Followed by my other siblings, Amina(Amira), Zainab(ihsan), Abdulazeez(Abdul), Fatima(Zara)

Khalifah is 13 years old
Abdul is 10 years old
Amira is 7 years old
Ihsan is 5 year old
Zara is 2 years old

And am the eldest, the firstborn, Khadijah, and am 16 years old.

"Khadijah you should get ready for school too, Don't be late," my mother said.

"Ok umma, let me get my trousers from the dryer," I said.

I took my hijab from the bed and kissed Zara on her forehead then said goodbye to Umma and left.

I arrived at our school in no time because it was not far from our house.

I went to my sibling's classes first to check if they were there, and they were.

I went to my class too, I found my classmates reciting the holy Qur'an (surat Yusuf) I said my Salam and sat on the second bench.

I opened my Qur'an too and joined them, it's routine when the uztaza is not in the class we recite the Qur'an before they arrive.

This is 2:37 p.m. We read for like 30mins before the uztaz stepped into the class, he said his Salam and we all answered.

We finished our Tauheed class, and before then he asked for his assignment, almost all the class members did the assignment because we are in primary 5 and it's the last term. Grades matter a lot. Only the boys, of course, those gangs didn't do it. With that, he left.

After another lesson from the book of hadith, we went out to pray asr, I made sure I put my siblings to perform ablution and pray, went back to the class finished the rest of my classes, and headed back home with my siblings.

"Umma," Ihsan called, "we are back." We said our Salam and greeted umma.

She was sitting down thinking of only Allah knows,

"Welcome back my pumpkins," she said with a smile.

"Umma I'm going to play ball with my friends," Khalifa said.

"No, eat first," said Umma

Okay, I brought the plate from the basket and served us all in one plate.

After the meal, I asked Umma if I could go to Asmau's house(my best friend).

She was not at school today so I went to check if she was fine. Her house was not far from mine.

****

I came back home after maghrib prayer, and Alhamdulilah Asma'u was fine, she slept off and Mama was not at home to wake her up.

I found the painter making the wall, It was a pink color paint in the room that Abba asked us to pack from.

Of course, he is getting married.

My father has more than one wife, he got married to several women and their number might reach 7.

Presently, there are two wives and my mother. She's the first wife. Now he is getting married to the fourth wife, not that she is the fourth wife but for now she is.

My home has never been easy for me, my mother (Umma), and my siblings.

Only my mother and siblings make me smile, and when I see them I feel at ease. But my Father(Abba) and stepmothers are always a burden to me, they always want to make my life miserable at a very young age, they make sure I suffer for a bit I get, and they make me hate life itself. But umma always encourages, nothing to say but Alhamdulilah for having her by my side, without her am nothing. Allah is my guide and she is my shield. I love her.

We all love our mothers and they are always the best gift.
Another update will arrive soon insha Allah 😁
