LIFE IS SHORT, LIVE IT TO THE FULLEST. BE GOOD!
Immediately after Isha prayers I got into the bathroom and took a quick shower, Knowing ya Yusuf hates waiting. After the shower I have no idea what to wear, I don't even know where we going so I've no idea what to wear. I quickly dialed Maryam's number and after two rings she picked up.
"Yoo girl, finding it hard on what to wear right?". She asked immediately she picked up the call.
"Really? When did you start reading minds? Huh!?" I asked.
"When I saw how you guys are looking at each other. Yes, that's when I started reading minds". She said.
"Oh please! You're such a clown. Please do you mind coming over, because I'm just here staring at the clothes. Please," I have to add that because I know who she is.
"Fine, will be there in five minutes." She said.
"Thanks! Will be waiting then". And I hung up.
"Assalamu Alaikum" Maryam blessed me with her presence.
"Wa alikumus salam" "Welcome," I asked.
"Shuss! Let's get to work," she said and couldn't do anything other than stay and watch.
"She brought a peach Abaya designed fully with stones,... Wear this," she said. "He loves abayas." She whispered.
I looked at her and she gave me the go ahead look.
I wore it and Masha Allah I looked stunning. I must say.
I only applied a little powder and kohl, cos I'm not a fan of makeup. I wore peach shoes and took my handbag. Not forgetting to put on my haramen perfume.
We heard the honk and quickly ran. I bid Umma goodbye and left.
"Maryam you can sit in the front seat please," I said.
"Why? No, I'm not sitting in the front! You should." Maryam said.
"Just for today please, "I begged.
"Nah! Just go and sit in the front so that he'll have a full view of you."She teased.
"Oh stop that!" I just decided to sit in the front because I didn't want her to tease me more.
"I thought you'd argue for the whole night". Ya Yusuf said when he hit the car to life.
"Hmm," I couldn't say anything because I'm so shy of him.
"Where are we heading to?" Baby asked.
"Put eyes and see," he replied.
"Haba ya, it's your sister." She pouted.
"I know, just close your eyes you'll see it, just like a daydream".He said.
"Oh really? You wanna use that trick on me 'cause you've fallen for it?" She chuckled.
"Or do you want me to expose it?" She added.
