THE LIFE OF THIS WORLD IS ONLY A DECEIVING ENJOYMENT.
I'm presently in Maryam's room, the room is tense, the AC is on but the room is hot, I was sitting down on the bed, waiting for the outcome.
On the other side was Maryam, she was more tense than the room itself, she couldn't sit down she was roaming around the room, I know her heart was beating so fast.
"I hope everything will be fine Maryam, I hope ya Yusuf will not tell Abbi." I found myself saying.
Ya, Yusuf and Abbi are presently in the parlor discussion about what only Allah knows, it's two days after the incident and Yaya was neither talking to Maryam nor me.
"Abbi will shout at me, he would say why didn't I bring him home at first? He told me when I'm ready to settle or have a boyfriend I should direct him to Abbi. But I failed, I didn't do what he said. Would he take me as a disobedient child? Ya rabbi, I just hope ya Yusuf said nothing about it".Maryam said panicking
Ameen.

The door was open so that we could hear what they were talking about, but we couldn't figure it out. We heard no single word as they lowered their voices or so.
"You both should come, Abbi is looking for you". Yusuf said from nowhere.
We both looked at the door In shock. None of us said a word we just nodded and he left.
We looked at each other at the same time, both worried and fear to meet Abbi.
"He told him, that's all. I'm finished". Maryam said.
I couldn't say a word, I've nothing to say.
"Assalamu alaikum," we both said while entering where they were sitting.
"Wa alikumussalam". They both answered.
"Ina wuni abbi--(Good afternoon Abbi)" we said.
"Lafiya lau 'Yan mata, ya kuke(Fine ladies how are you)". Abbi asked grinning.
Maryam looked at me, she was surprised at how Abbi was free and had no sign of anger. I was too.
"Lafiya lau, Alhamdulilah Abbi, ya aiki--Fine Alhamdulilah, how's work," I asked.
"Work is fine Alhamdulilah, thank you," he replied.
"It's about your school, I was emailed that you're starting your classes next week on Monday. And today is...." He trailed.
"Wednesday," said Ya Yusuf.
"Yes, Wednesday. Didn't you both get the email.?" He asked.
"I didn't check Abbi, let me bring my phone from the room," Maryam said
"No need. I've seen it. Maryam, I told you to always put a notification right, so that you won't be left behind. Hadn't been they didn't send it to me or ya brother, you won't know." Abbi said
"Sorry Abbi. It won't repeat Insha Allah." Said Maryam.
I hope so. Khadijah you too, always stay focused, okay, you should also be on notification, it'll be easier for you". Abbi said.
"Insha Allah Abbi, I'll do that," I said.
"Get ready later, your brother is taking you to buy what you need. You're leaving on Saturday. Insha Allah." Abbi said.
"Okay Abbi, thank you."
"You can both go and start preparing, I know you girls will take hours before getting ready." Abbi teased.
